I came today with my toddler son who is in the thick of potty training, and much to my chagrin, was greeted with a sign on the bathroom door that “the bathroom facilities are closed” because they were “winterized,“ and that they will “open in the spring.” Someone please explain to me how it makes sense to have a playground in this city with no bathroom? Naturally, when nature called, as it did today, I had to let my son relieve himself in the bush. I considered doing so as well. Parks and Recreation and New York City officials, please do better! It is not rocket science to know that children who are learning how, where, and when to relieve themselves need an easy-to-access and operating bathroom to do so. PLEASE...
Read moreIt’s a good playground... it has nice swings for kids.. separate space for older and younger kids .. it also has a large slide set in the middle of the park .. it also has sprinklers in one area of the playground.. it’s fun for kids.. The park has separate large area to play different sports like basketball , tennis, badminton etc.. My kids love to go to this place especially they like hanging out here with their friends... I just wish there were more adult swings because it gets tiring to have to wait for kids who are sitting in the swings using their phones, not even using the swing. Going to the park by foot is kinda annoying since it is sort of far from the library or other places around where the library is. Other than that the park is good and kid friendly.
