Read more04/02/2021 = 4/5 star experience (9am, Friday). It's a busy location! Multiple people in and out during 10 mins of my stay here. Got an entire tiramisu cake. Ate it 3 hrs after purchase. It felt a little frozen inside (it was kinda... crunchy? - like sorbet) so I felt like it wasn't made the day of. But it still was delicious. After keeping it in the refrigerator for about 6 hours, it wasn't "crunchy" anymore, and it somehow tasted even better. Side note: It tastes similar to tiramisu but it's not real tiramisu.
03/2021 = 2/5 star experience. Normally, I'm like Paris Baguette because the quality of food is usually similar at all branches. But this specific visit to this specific branch was 2/5 stars. (disclaimer: this was my first visit in this branch. And I purchased Tiramisu King Creme Donut for the first time)
Summary: Visit was during lunch time. There weren't a lot of options for food. Cashier was slow and unresponsive. And Tiramisu King Creme Donut sucked, especially for $3.79! Grrr!
Visit: I brought my items to the cashier and they were packed in 2 bags. Paid, and the bags were being handed to me when the cashier stopped dead in her tracks and, WITHOUT A WORD OF EXPLANATION (even though I asked her what's going on), held onto 2nd bag and got another person to help out. Apparently the cashier missed to charge for an item, and doing another transaction. It seemed like she was very new to the job (didn't know which item was which, or how to ring them up), but was slow at her job and did not explain the situation to the customer. This is bad customer service and I was subsequently late to a meeting.
Tiramisu king creme donut: I never had this donut at any other Paris Baguette branches. This was my first try. This SUCKED. The bread part was greasy like Paris Baguette cronut (which I like) and the creme was only in the center row (not even all the way in). I don't think Paris Baguette should call this "Tiramisu King Creme donut". And I will never get this ever again.
Still. Leaving 2 stars because at least it was open, clean and was following the COVID-19...
Read moreDefinitely was excited to see a Paris Baguette open in a burnt out row of stores along Horace Harding expressway in Little Neck especially since it’s minutes from my house. I will definitely make time to stop in.
Today in the mail I received a welcome card inviting new customers in to have a free coffee or a small discount on a piece of cake. I was thrilled and decided to go and try out the coffee. I walk in abs yes the place is clean and the food looks very pretty but the customer service is cold and doesn’t make you want to go back.
I only went in for a small coffee and decided to use the free coupon but when I handed it to the man behind the counter, he gave me a look of ( you’re not going to buy anything else?). I am fully aware that businesses rely on people spending money after going in with a free coupon but I don’t typically eat sweets. Here’s the part that totally turned me off and I Weill never go back. I asked for the coffee with milk and then I politely asked do you have oat milk which is becoming more common these days. He said I will have to charge you 70 cents for the oat milk in your free coffee ? I thought this store go do better when they are trying to win people over and want them...
