Pizza is always on point here. Not to mention pretty much anything they make. Havent tasted anything so far that was not exceptional. NOW ! To all those complaining about the cash discount credit card program I say look at your other receipts. 8 out of 10 places, not just food are under the same program. Prices on menu are cash discounted prices if you pay cash. Why should the business owner have to pay the processing fees out of the bottom line ? This is NYC not Boise Idaho. Rent isn't cheap in NYC. Would you rather they raise the price or make the servings smaller or maybe just go out of business in an already difficult business environment. NYC has already approved a 10 % covid fee until 90 days after 100% indoor dining is back. So less wining and more dining. Seriously its .35 cents per $10.00. Makes me laugh that the same people complaining about .35-.70 cents will pay $2.00 for THE ATM because they can't do simple math. Or pay $18 for a bagel and ice coffee on Uber eats when its $7.50 on a walk in. Drivers have been paying extra on gas @ 99% of has gas stations for 20 years. You pay extra with a Credit card to pay your parking tickets. The day after a place goes out of business all the complainers are like "awww I can't believe the place closed." Support your local businesses and be thankful that they put they're health on the line to fill your non empathetic stomach's. Rant over ! NOW LOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL STROMBOLI AND PIZZA WHICH IS WHAT THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT. AND ITS WAS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS. Another satisfied well fed local business...

Update 3/6/20

Tonight I came to Center pizza for dinner. I always enjoy their food, which is delicious and nice portions.

For starters I ordered the Clams (8) Oreganata. They were delicious in their garlic butter sauce. The clans were whole, not chopped.

Fir dinner, I ordered the Linguini with Garlic, Oil and Anchovies. First, let me say that the dish was delicious so I am not going to take away from this rating. I am just particular with how's I enjoy and madis my Linguine G,O&A. The way they prepared it, the desire saute the garlic and oil, mixed the linguini and topped with whole anchovies. I asked them to take back and saute the anchovies into the garlic snag oil, this breaks them up into a well blended sauce, then coat the pasta.

The dish came back to the table with the anchovies just sliced shaker. Again, I'm just particular with how I enjoy the dish. The dish itself was still delicious, the pasta not over cooked and a nice temp.

Fina my waitress was very personable and were chatted for a while. She did a great job!

This pizza place is really nice. I randomly stumbled upon it while somewhere else at Little Neck Plaza and ever since then I frequent it at least 2-3 times a month. All of the workers are really nice and there is a nice variety of pizzas as well as dinners. There is a nice selection of wine and a couple beers. I usually get the mozzarella sticks and a plain pie. Sometimes I'll switch it up with baked clams or garlic knots. The baked clams are excellent considering Centre is not a seafood restaurant. The garlic knots are good, but aren't overly greasy. Centre also has some nice desserts. Their Italian Cheesecake isn't the typically with more of a Cinnamon flavor than Ricotta with Lemon zest.
