Gotham City Billiards Club — Attraction in New York

Been in Brooklyn for 13 days, visited 7 Pool Halls including the popular ones and my personal favourite is without a doubt Gotham Billiards. Staff is very friendly, as an outsider (traveller from a Carribbean Island known as Trinidad) I felt very comfortable in the environment.

I was alone, doing the same for all the pool halls I was visiting, playing for an hour minimum to patronise the establishments and at Gotham City, with their rates, I couldn't just play for 1 hour. Their Power play rates were the best rates out of all the Pool Halls I've visited, having all Diamond tables, where the playing field on the tables I were on were perfectly levelled.

Food was great, I had buffalo wings and a burger with fries. I can say more and this may seem like I was paid to right this review. Lol. It's very family oriented, saw alot of parents with their kids having fun, a great sight to see.

Take a visit and judge for yourself. It's my best place thus far, considering their pool rates, cleanliness of the establishment, quality of the pool tables, customer service, variety of music played, food was tasty, ohhh almost forgot to mention a room to play table tennis. When you go, it doesn't matter who's working, they are all customer friendly. Shane however was very welcoming from the first day I walked in, till the last time I left. He made sure to walk me outside and helped navigate the mapping of how the busses would get me home etc. Did a great job without having to look at Google maps. Thanks Shane and the Gotham City crew.

I have been to pool halls all over the world, and this is hands down the best I have ever been in! They have the lowest rates in the City, and I have never waited for a table. Most importantly, the almost new Diamond tables are meticulously cleaned and maintained. The felt is replaced more frequently than anywhere I know of. I play with a $3000 cue, but I have never seen better house cues! You can see pros, couples on dates, and families with children. In addition to the typical fast food, they often have homemade food and baked goods made by one of the owners! The staff are friendly and accommodating. I am comfortable taking my wife or teenage daughter there, but can always find a challenging opponent for a friendly game or otherwise. Pre birthday fun here was actually awesome . Shout out to all the ppl celebrating your birthday this month last month 2023 I came here With no experience in pool what so ever ;however I have hope because the environment and space has exceeded what I expected .
