I rarely leave bad reviews for doctors’ clinics, but I’m really upset this time. On Friday morning, my son started saying his ear hurt a little, but I didn’t think much of it and assumed it wasn’t serious. On Saturday, he continued complaining about ear pain, so I gave him pain and fever medicine and cleaned his earwax. I thought I could see some redness inside his ear and suspected an ear infection. On Sunday, I took him to the clinic since he was still complaining about the pain. However, the male doctor said my son was completely fine, that there was no earwax, and his ears were very clean. He couldn’t explain why my son was in pain. Sunday evening, my son kept saying his ear hurt, and even the painkillers weren’t helping anymore. When I used an ear-cleaning tool to hold his ear open, I found a piece of earwax blocking his ear. After I cleaned it, it was obvious that the inside of his ear was very red. But since we had just seen the doctor that day, I didn’t think it was a major issue. On Monday morning, I still sent my son to school, but around 11 a.m., I got a call from the school asking me to pick him up. I then took him to another doctor, who diagnosed him with a middle ear infection. While I don’t doubt Dr. Huang’s medical expertise, I’ve had similar experiences with other doctors at the clinic, where they seemed unprofessional or hesitant with their diagnoses. This has made me feel the need to repeatedly visit the clinic to have Dr. Huang check again. The reason I’m leaving a bad review is that on Monday, my son was crying from the pain. This situation could have been avoided, and I feel...

Read moreDr. Ooi is the best pediatrician in Brooklyn in my honest opinion! We had tried going to several other pediatricians before finding her. We transferred and have been taking my son to dr. Ooi since he was 14m old (he is now 3 and a half yr old). My son has autism and gets quite uneasy when it comes to shots and checkups. Even though he gets difficult to deal with, she never gives us hard time and is always patient with him. She is caring, takes her time with my son, and makes sure all my questions are answered. She is also accessible. Whenever I call her to ask medical questions about my son, she always gets back to me. Her office is super clean, and all of her staff are very friendly and efficient. When I walk in, I am always greeted, and they go beyond their way to provide the best service to my son. I am sooooo grateful and lucky to...
