I recently visited "Young Fish" for their grand opening, and it was an amazing dining experience! This restaurant offers a great variety of sauerkraut fish dishes, and if you're worried about it being too salty, don’t be, the flavors were perfectly balanced. If you love spicy food, this is definitely the right place for you!

The night we went, the restaurant was packed, but we were seated quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food came out pretty fast, which was impressive given how busy they were.

The portion sizes were huge so big that we couldn’t finish everything and had to take some home! My favorite dish was their grilled fish. They served the whole fish with crispy skin and tender, fresh meat that was absolutely delicious.

The sauerkraut fish arrived in a generous, steaming bowl filled with tender slices of basa fish swimming in a tangy, spicy broth. The fermented cabbage brought a perfect level of sourness, while the chili oil and Sichuan peppercorns added depth and a pleasant numbing heat. Wanted to try a new spot on 8th Avenue that had recently opened. Seeing a large amount of people gave me the assumption that this restaurant had some good food. I was seated and it took over 10 minutes before someone came up to me and handed a lukewarm water on a dirty cup and asked what I wanted to order. Since this was my first time here, I asked what their recommendations were, and the mood switched. They just said to order their special as that's their best and didn't give other options depending on what I would like.
