Jacob Javits Playground — Attraction in New York

A quiet, well maintained playground. With multiple sections for toddlers, older children, and an exercise section for adults. There is also a basketball court and picnic tables in the back of the playground where there is a short, winding path through a clean lawn, dotted with massive oaks. This recently renovated playground is great! Play areas for big, medium, and small kids; lots of slides and climbing equipment. Both baby and “big kid” swings as well as a water feature. The river views are a nice bonus.

Since the latest renovation it's been awesome. Something for most age groups, including a basketball court and outdoor fitness space. The sprinklers are of course a life saver in summer too.
