If I could give Lenox hill a 0 I would. I felt discriminated against because of my age. I had a mamo scheduled back in sept/oct at the bay ridge location upon arrival the tech sees my paper and immediately states that I cannot be seen because a doctor needs to be in the office. She said my only option was to have a sono. I asked the receptionist did she have the right to make that judgment call. The tech walked away and stated “everybody gets breast pain, it’s not a big deal”. I kindly ask for a refund of my copayment and decided to schedule my exams elsewhere. Upon calling the rep for LHR she said that mamo referral was removed from the system. Eventually she finds it and books me for a mamo in November. The day before my exam I received a text message that states that my appointment was canceled and then I would need to call to reschedule so I call immediately and reschedule and I was told that the technician would be leaving early and that I would have to schedule for another day. I pleaded with the rep. She was nice enough to squeeze me in sometime earlier than the previously scheduled appointment, I go to this appointment I make my copayment forms were already signed and completed online I go in the back I was asked to remove my clothing above the waist and which I did and I sat in the waiting room with my gown on when another tech comes to me and tells me that they cannot do my mammogram because I do not have a referral. I had the referral saved on my phone and on the referral it said mammogram and ultrasound. The technician goes back speak to the person that supposed to do the mammogram, and she states that I cannot be seen I need to first start with an ultrasound and then possibly a mammogram if it shows anything , now I’ve been in pain for months, so I agreed I go in there to do the ultrasound. I only get one breast Examined. I will never do business with Lennox Hill radiology again I would recommend anywhere else. I do not recommend this place to anybody who is young African-American who has complaints because these people are here to steal your money take your copayment write it also insurance company, and refuse to give the proper care. Read moreWell I arrived prior to the recommended time of 11:25 around 11:04... I Wrote the actual arrival time on the sign in sheet or sticker... I never appreciate when clerks call me by my first name at anytime in a place that claims HIPPA is of the highest standard. I wasn't taken for my examination until after a quarter after 12... First noticed by not the initial Clerks but by another clerk who asked the initial clerks if the radiologist was aware I had been waiting well after my scheduled appointment for 11:45... She also offered me two of the last pieces of chocolate which was sitting on top of the counter I stood before. I had forgotten to bring my initial referral... But hat a picture which was accepted but receptionist had to hold my personal phone. Which needed to be unlocked 3-4 times for her to copy the referring doctor information which I had prior registered along with the CT testing information had also informed Lenox Hill Radiology of when I initially made the appointment. The actual Radiologist however did call address me as Mr., my last name. Which gave me comfort. Feeling as if I was in front of a professional... But whose bedside manners in making me feel rushed... In which I felt the need to show him information on my phone which I thought extended the area to be scanned... Then he covered and shut off the screen to my actual images after the exam with furvent information of the exit to leave his presence... I was running a bit late so I called , which took about 1hr for someone to answer I let the lady who answer know I’d be 15 mins late immediately she said No I had to be there before 11:30 , keep in mind my appointment is at 11:30 , I respectfully asked if I had a grace time she said no I had to reschedule. I decided to walk-in and ask the ladies in the front one of them politely said it was fine I could still be seen. After completing one of the exams i asked the radiologist if I was all done she told me the computers were down and I was only doing one , I then spoke to the lady in the front who by the way saw me standing there didn’t greet me until I made eye contact with her , for 10 mins to ask if I was finished she then check on the computer and tells me yes , 1 hr later I get a call from the office that I had only done 1 part of the exam , I traveled 3 hrs to get here the Communication in This facility is terrible. As someone who waited months for this appointment this is unacceptable. Management needs to be involve and speak to your staff. - Also who ever is in charge of reading these review TELL THE OFFICE TO ANSWER THE PHONE.
