Scheduled pickup went bad. Wait with vehicle over 3hrs for pickup. Peddles to call and say they aren't and direct dealer so the title needs to be notarized b4 they can pick it up. A total waste of my time. You would think someone would have mentioned this before the actual pickup date at 6pm at night. Now my vehicle is sitting on the street because of Peddles and Heritage for the Blind and will probably get a ticket while I'm at work tomorrow wait for them to reschedule. First vehicle no problem, had a direct dealer. I get email confirmation number and letter for donation, but when I go to redeem hotel restaurant voucher, it ask for credit card info instead of asking for voucher number. The lady on the phone is very nice and professional. The way they operate is real suspect, scammy like. You will get calls from towe truck drivers trying to come pick up the vehicle before you receive an emsil confirmation. Peddles offered me cash after I already put in a tequest to donate to Heritage for The Blind. Smh. Try to do something good. I've donated vehicles in the pass, never a headache. Recently a friend died from diabetes complications and he was legally blind, so I choose this organization in honor of "the blind profit from Southwest Philly". Rip Maurice...

SCAM ALERT!!! I called this company looking to sell my old Mazda 626 that we have not used in years. The guy on the phone asked to you have a title, what zip code is the car located in, is it complete etc....... normal questions. Puts me on hold to check the best options then comes back on the line GOOD NEWS you can donate your car and get $200 in free food and even hotel vouchers for a free trip. Whats your address, vin and I need your social security number...WHAT!!!!! WHAT!!!! WHAT!!! he asked for my social security #hung up on him. I called back again same questions asked now by girl who said the Peddle bid is $400 I can offer you $150 she said we sell lots of cars to them. Why do I need you if I can sell my car direct to Peddle. She had no idea what to say next. Its very obvious these telemarketers are being trained by moron managers who have no clue of what there doing and lack common training skills. I asked the girl where are you located 2950 Cypress Creek Blvd in Fort Lauderdale there website says New York. After doing a little home work online Heritage For The Blind they have tons of complaints, not surprised with such poor...

I saw many negative reviews for HFTB prior to donating our vehicle. I brought these up with the call center rep I spoke with and he gave his word that all would be exactly as advertised. As I predicted, however, the donation incentive rewards promised to us were completely misrepresented...

It's not a $200 voucher for restaurants; it's a pay-to-receive coupon for "up to 50% off" at certain restuarants. It's not a 2 night 3 day vacation stay at your chosen location; it's a 2 night stay with very limited destination options and lots of terms and conditions, as well as a deposit requirement and the possibility of paying state and room tax.

We are genuinely saddened that they, as a supposedly compassionate and genuine foundation, feel the need to omit information just to get donations from people. We are happy to donate our vehicle without any reward, gladly, but are very disappointed to have been purposefully misled. It is very unbecoming and does not show integrity whatsoever.

I would suggest donating locally, or to HFTB without the expectation for...
