Park amenities are third rate and the restroom is in constant use by vagrants posing as taxi drivers who often leave their vehicles idling curbside. The noise from the FDR Drive is often deafening particularly from the city ambulances which use sirens at a decibel-range far above that which causes hearing damage in adults.
