Only reviewing as a 1 star as a warning. It looks like a lovely park but it’s private key card entry only. There is a public splash pad closer to the street, but access to all of the play structures is private only.

Nice enough respite from the Belly of the Beast. Refreshing sprinklers and greenery. Convenient location.

Mercer PG was a bit difficult to find because it is tucked away and completed gated. You need a card key to enter which baffles me since it is a public playground from what I'm told. I had to ask someone to let me in and needed someone to let me out. Outside of that nuisance it's a pretty nice playground with swings and different climbing apparatus. There is a small zip line that my kids loved. Haven't seened that in any other park. The have a sand pit to get dirty in. There are many abandoned working toys there which is fun for kids to play with. Parking is a little tough and there are no facilities. Many kids and parents...

There's an under construction city park that's closed, and a gated playground run by another org (not city parks) that requires a key fob to get in and out. (and the entrance is hard to find- you have to go between the buildings) The playground is not bad, lots of variety, it's also littered with plastic riding and pushing toys some work, and some are broken. Met our needs for the day, but it's not one we'll be...

This is a private playground. You can't open the gate unless you have special keys. Not sure if it's possible but it would be nice if Google or NYC Parks could make it clear when you search for it that it's not open...
