I genuinely love Maria Tash Luxury Piercings and Fine Jewellery, so much! Let me tell you about my many, positive experiences.
When ordered off the Maria Tash website, whether it's a custom jewellery order, or a general jewellery order; I am always treated with the upmost respect, and importance; as a customer.
When placing my custom order, it did take a little longer than expected for me to receive the piece. However, when it arrived, the jewellery was beyond perfection, and well worth the wait.
When making a general Jewellery order, my piece, typically arrived in a little less than a week. And everything I've ordered from Maria Tash was been extremely well packaged, and in pristine condition.
Anytime I have a question to ask the Maria Tash staff, in a live chat, they're so kind to me, and make sure to answer any concerns I may have, to full satisfaction.
I have also reached out to the Maria Tash staff through social media, on various occasions. They always take the time to speak to me about any piercing or jewellery concerns I may have.
Recently, I had a little mix up with two different local piercers giving me opposing opinions about a Maria Tash piece I'd like to put into my rook piercing.
I mentioned my experience to the Maria Tash online staff, and they went above and beyond to help me, to help clarify my situation.
I'd also like to mention that in 2019 I had the opportunity to visit the Maria Tash location, in New York. I was there to purchase a piece of jewellery, and have it installed in an existing piercing.
I went on a Saturday, so it was quite crowded. But even still, the Maria Tash staff made sure I had the desired jewellery I was looking for, in the correct size, without ever rushing me out the door.
The piercer who installed my jewellery was very kind and polite. He was quick to install the jewellery, and I didn't feel a thing.
As far as the Maria Tash jewellery itself. I've researched many different luxury piercing designers, both online and in person. For me personally, The Maria Tash body jewellery is what I'm looking for.
Her jewellery is so beautiful, elegant, classy, and timeless. In the looks and styles. Whether you're going for a more vintage look, or something with a bit of an edge. Maria Tash, has a style for every taste.
I've even had piercers in local luxury piercing shops, in my city, complement me numerous times on my Maria Tash jewellery.
As far as the comfort, and durability of the Maria Tash jewellery, I have her jewellery in both my ears. I never take anything out before I go to sleep, except for my industrial piercing. (Because it's a long bar.)
Otherwise, I sleep with the rest of my jewellery in my ears, and don't feel a thing. The jewellery never moves, through the night.
I have had two of my hoops unhinge a couple times, randomly. But they are very easy to clap back together. Generally speaking, it's not a problem.
Also, once, I had a stud earing fall out. But, I caught it in my lap. And honestly, I attribute that more to my jewellery not being properly installed by a local piercer, and not the jewellery itself.

A few years ago I purchased a belly ring with Diamonds from Maria Tash located at 653 Broadway in Manhattan NYC. The item I purchased was well made, durable, stylish and extremely comfortable. I enjoyed wearing it literally everyday until I became pregnant.
After I was blessed with delivering a beautiful and healthy baby I started trimming down my waist for a flatter tummy. As a special treat for myself I went back to Maria Tash to purchase another navel ring. This time I purchased a dangle piece. So I purchased the new navel ring in June at the store. I was told it will arrive in 6 weeks. I thought to myself "summer will basically be over by time I receive the navel ring" but I still wanted it so I proceeded with the purchase. The navel ring actuarially arrived a little over 6 weeks. but I was excited when it arrived.
The second day I wore the navel ring it BROKE. the dangle piece fell off. I immediately called Maria Tash and notified them. The office manager told me that they will expedite a new navel ring and I should expect to receive it within 2 weeks. Well that was in August. I kept calling throughout September and October to see when it will be available. No one bothered to contact me to notify me that there will be a delay after all, the office manger promised me it will be expedited and I will receive it in two weeks. It was not ready to pick up until mid October. That's right just a few days ago I went back to Maria Tash to finally pick up my navel ring but this time it did not fit. It appeared that the bar that enters the navel was longer. So I was informed that they have to send it out again. At this rate who knows when I will receive it. I thought they had a mini workshop on the premises that could have simply made the necessary adjustments but I was told "No" it must be shipped out for the adjustment..
I honestly do not know when or if I will ever receive my navel ring. I have been more than patient. I realize that things happen and obstacle occur but this amount of wait time is ridiculous. Basically it's like I've been waiting for my navel ring since June...July....Aug....Sept...Now it's towards the end of October. and still waiting. I wonder if I will receive it this year?
I'm disappointed because I did not have it for the summer. because I expected Maria Tash establishment to address this issue promptly and been honest and forth coming about the time to receive the piece. I am starting to feel like my patience is being taken for granted and that they do not value me as a customer. And they do not care about the inconvenience they caused. At this point I will call them to request a full refund. I am very disappointed by their lackadaisical attention. I am very disappointed with the way Maria Tash staff has conducted business thus far I really expected more professional service and quality especially for the price because her jewelry is not cheap in price.

Read moreTheir jewelry is beautiful (if expensive), and they do a good job with the actual piercing, but they are HORRIBLE with giving consistent good advice on the phone if you call them with any issues or questions about piercing care or health issues!!!!! This has happened to me not once but twice.
The most recent experience was this week when my daughter got a slightly alarming infection in her pierced ear. I called on the phone, described the problem, and they told me I should bring her in and they would help me diagnose and care for it. So I took off work early, picked her up at school, and brought her in. When I got there the woman asked me if there had been any pus and what color it was... I answered yes, yellow/red, and she said "oh because of liability issues I cannot help you at all, you must go to a doctor." Why the hell couldn't someone have asked me that simple question and given me that simple answer ON THE PHONE, and saved me and my daughter a hell of a lot of time!!?? We don't live very near to Maria Tash, and I missed work because I thought they were the right people to help us; I could have used that time to take my daughter straight to the doctor instead!!! And by the time we left Maria Tash our doctor's office was closed, leaving me with the option of waiting 24 more hours to take my daughter with an infected ear to a real professional who could help, or going to an emergency room. Not only did Maria Tash inconvenience us, but the store made the health risks worse by delaying the correct care.
The other time we had this problem was back when we got her ears pierced. We were going away in August to a location with lake swimming. I called them in late July and said will it be a problem if my daughter gets her ears pierced now; will she be able to swim in a lake in mid August? The person I got on the phone said it should be fine, as long as it has been several weeks since the piercing, you should be able to flush the ear with saline after getting out of the lake and you'll be fine. OK, I said, and brought her in to get the ears pierced. Immediately after the man pierced her ears he started giving us care advice and stressed that she was not to do any lake swimming for a whole two months! When I told him about the flushing-with-saline plan I'd been told on the phone, he said oh no, that's a terrible idea, I can't support that. And that was that -- the ears were already pierced, and my daughter could not put her head underwater for her entire summer vacation.
So, I really think the store needs to get its act together about how it deals with piercing health, and make sure the people who talk to folks on the phone are on the same page, and know what they're saying! Especially they should realize that telling someone to "just come in to the store and we'll help you" is not a neutral thing, if where they need to go is a doctor, because it wastes time!!!!!
