Nelly's Flowers And Plants — Attraction in New York

Williamsburg is a rapidly changing area, and while all sorts of hip, new, trendy places are popping up everywhere, Nelly’s Flower Shop has remained as a long-standing, dependable, reasonable and high quality source for flowers. When I was looking for a florist for my wedding, I came across Nelly’s and immediately loved that they were family owned (and been around since 1971!) and that they had provided flowers for weddings at MyMoon (my venue). I met with Katyna and she was a dream to work with from the beginning. I was a little lost at first regarding what I wanted and she was fantastic at making suggestions and showing me samples of what the end product would look like. I booked her almost a year before my wedding so I had a bunch of changes to my original design as it got closer to the day and she had the patience of a saint as I tried to explain it all. She wanted to make sure I would be happy and communicated with me actively as she ordered my flowers and started putting together the arrangements. I also had her decorate a Welcome sign and make altar arrangements for me. She even sent me a pic of my bouquet as it was being made! When I saw it in person I was speechless! And when I first walked into my venue I was speechless again! The end result was beyond my wildest expectations. My flower budget was lower than most other brides, yet Katyna worked her magic within that range and made it look like a million bucks. Very nice local small plant and flower shop. If you need flowers come here they have them year round and can probably build a bouquet for cheaper than any online site (which calls places like these to fill those orders anyways). If you don't like the selections that are already premade you can ask them for help building a custom arrangement. In the summer and spring they have loads and loads of different herbs and seeds and vegetables for great prices like $5 or less. All of them looks healthy and it's hard to resist buying one of everything. Of course they also have a wide selection of house plants and pots. I don't really know much about them but the staff are all very friendly...

Nelly’s Floral Shop was the greatest! Working with Katyna was easy and she took my vision and brought it to life. I met with her a couple of times prior to the wedding so that they can get an idea of what exactly you want and to make any last minute changes. Katyna gave me her personal opinion on some of the flowers which helped me choose the overall flowers for the feel of my wedding. She did everything that we asked for. She has experience with rustic/Brooklyn vibe weddings and knew exactly what I wanted. She absolutely killed the floral decor at my wedding and every little thing that the shop did for my wedding did not go unnoticed! Would definitely recommend...
