Sazón Perez is a true hidden gem, an authentic Dominican hole-in-the-wall with amazing food and that real home-cooked feel. The selection is vast, and everything behind the counter smelled incredible.

I had the roasted half chicken, and it was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The rice and beans, chivo (goat), and beef stew were all flavorful and cooked just right, seriously comforting food that hits the spot.

The ambiance is fast-paced and casual, catering mostly to the working crowd from around the area. Seating is extremely limited, so it’s best to plan on taking your food to go. That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially if it’s your first time or you need help deciding what to order.

Oh man is this food great. It's hot and plentiful and delicious. You can tell because it's got a crazy lunch rush.

It's like one of those buffets where they serve you. I was like, "how does this work? Is it like a two meats combo or. . . ?" The lady was like, "Just pick whatever you want, and we'll just fill it up." And no kidding did they fill it up. The container barely closed.

I got the dirty rice, pinto beans, and stewed goat (I think). It was so good! Tons of flavor, the beans were so creamy and the meat was fall-off-the-bone, fatty, and so much of it. Top it off with a ton of their hot sauce, and you'll be in fat heaven. It lasted me three meals btw. I don't remember how much it was, but it was probably in the $12 range.

I really love coming to Sazon Perez Restaurant every time I'm close by. I always get the lunch special which is like $6.50-$7 depending what meat you get and they give you a salad and soda also included. The food is really good, fresh. I unable to go now during breakfast time but I have gone in the past and I was happy to see a large selection of Spanish style breakfast foods. The place is take out only now but it's a small place and only had 3 tables indoors anyway so it not a big change for me. The parking is difficult but it's worth finding to go. Place is usually clean and the staff is super friendly. They also cater which I have done as well. Good...
