Hello Management,
I recently dined at a restaurant, and while the food was delightful, there was an incident that left a sour taste in my mouth. The ambiance of the restaurant wasn't warm and inviting, two of our family member reserved a spot but the servers kept saying you need to ask the rest of your family member to be here if not then we have to give the table to someone else, as 2 of our guest were on the way to the restaurant. However, there were nobody in the queue and 2 more tables were open as well. It is surprising that the new servers are doing this to their customers. In my many visit at the Modoo restaurant, we never faced this issue before.
However, the service was where things took an unexpected turn. Our server was polite and attentive throughout the meal, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were met. However, after we finished with the food and had paid our bill and were ready to leave, the server who brought the bill to us approached us outside the restaurant and asked for a tip and also asked us with an explanation why we did not tipped him. Remember, this kid did not served us or brought the food to us. Our server was a nice lady who assist us in our time at the restaurant and was involved serving us. This was surprising, as the bill had already been settled and no mention of a tip was made prior to this and the service charge was already been added to the bill.
In my culture, tipping is seen as a disrespectful act which is why we Do Not Tip outside of the service charge. It is usually done at the discretion of the customer and is typically included with the payment of the bill. Being asked for a tip after the bill had been paid was an uncomfortable experience and felt somewhat pressuring and harassing in-front of the other guest. So we had to give him a extra money. This was an absolute bizarre experience that we encountered.
Despite the awkward situation, I believe this incident was more of an entitlement of a singular server who thinks that asking people for tip is OK when he did not even served us but only brought the bill to us only, rather than the rule at this restaurant. The description of the server is a Short Asian Male with Glasses who approached us. I would still recommend this restaurant for its food and ambiance, but I hope they address this issue to ensure a more comfortable dining experience for all patrons.
In conclusion, while the food and ambiance were excellent, the post-bill service could use some improvement and trainning. I hope this review helps future patrons and the restaurant management in maintaining the high standards we’ve come to expect from our dining...

We all know issa cold AF outside, I’m talking 22 degrees F up in this Bih. It’s a small outdoor/indoor seating and trust me, it ain’t heated up at all cuzz. They’ll say it’s heated but the heater is a #JOKE. That heater blows cold air fam. Matter fact, the heater picture will be posted along with this review LOL. If y’all want to come here and eat some of that halal.. BRUH, believe me now and make sure you got on a few layers of clothing to keep you warm, maybe a pair UGG Fur gloves too. Get yo dishes out one by one so you can enjoy em warm!
I’ll start my review now and review as I get my dishes out.
The Drumsticks. They were aiight, not too die for, it’s just straight unseasoned drumstick fried then dumped in your sauce of choosing. I had sweet chili btw. (5/10)
Chicken Curry Katsu Set. It’s just a chicken cutlet with less, way less seasoning. Not what I expected, served with white rice and some... cabbage? I for sure will not be ordering this next time, nor do I recommend it... unless you like bland fried chicken, bro! (3/10)
Chicken Curry Katsu. Very VERY strong on the curry powder.. like WOAH CHEF just relax a bit.. other than that, same as the Chicken Katsu Lol, not reordering or recommending (2/10)
Btw.. my spoon just broke.. 🙄
So I ordered a spicy beef ramen and a creamy chicken ramen... the chicken was never made bro he bought te spicy beef and said we making the chicken now, I said TF!? Cancel it I don’t want it. (0/10).
At this point, my wife came even feel her fingers, smh.
So, the spicy beef ramen. Bruh! The ramen is a pack of noodles lmao, spicy level is good, the beef is eeh. It’s def better than all the above I had ordered, still not worth it though.
Well to wrap it up, this place is a waste of time, money and taste.
Service is TERRIBLE!

Read moreTLDR: Oxtail ramen was amazing and server Hannah was really kind and helpful. Had minimal wait time for takeout!
I’ve had food from here twice a couple years back and didn’t find anything particularly impactful so I never visited again. I was in the area today and in the mood for a nice flavorful ramen. I’ve had the creamy chicken ramen before which had a flavorful broth but I wasn’t a fan of the lean breast meat. I couldn’t recall when I was ordering but I’ve also had the miso ramen which was anticlimactic in terms of flavor. I discussed my preferences with my server Hannah who was so nice and helpful and suggested the oxtail ramen saying it’s her personal favorite. I followed her recommendation and can gratefully say it really hit the spot. A nice savory and hearty broth complemented by the scallion and crispy bean sprouts. I really enjoyed myself. I could be wrong because I haven’t had it in many years but the flavor of the broth was kind of reminiscent of the maruchan oriental noodle seasoning packet.
I’ve seen many of the other mixed reviews on here so I think everyone’s experience varies based off of multiple factors like what they’re ordering, who the staff is, etc. Fortunately I had a great experience this time. I can agree with a comment in other reviews saying that the noodles are the portion size of one noodle packet. I ordered takeout so I went home and boiled another packet of noodles and was able to make 3 comfortable servings out of one order of ramen due to the generous amount of broth. I wasn’t obsessed with the lean and flavorless beef bulgogi but it worked in the overall dish so I’m not complaining. Staff said wait time is 20-30 mins but I got my...
