Great place to go in the summer or warmer weather. There are tennis courts, volley ball courts, a playground. There is a small concession stand selling Italian ices (yummy. cold and delicious), ice cream, and a few other snacks. It is close to the ferry to Governor's Island. Love the Brooklyn bridge park but I was not really in to the pebbled walkway. The wood walk bridge over to Brooklyn Heights is very convenient especially after eating Thai food and then heading over to the park for ice cream....
