Calling this a playground is a bit of a stretch. It is just two sets of swings by the Pinetum.
As a lawn you take your kids to run around is pretty awesome, but do not expect an actual playground. The place is not enclosed, so you need to keep the little ones close.
The place is 50 feet away from Great Lawn, which as a lawn, is arguably much better.
Moreover, there are a bunch of intimidating duds working out by the swings, so not a very welcoming vibe.
