What an experience! The history" the people" what they achieved during the time is remarkable. How they survived under those conditions was an inspiration too me and my present day family" i am so proud and overwhelmed with respect and for thier courage and strength in staying focused on making america live up to our constitutional legacy under the reality of the uncertainty of tommorow and the constant threat of losing all that they achieved just because of the color of their skin! Dam! How could you give your all too get less" i don't know what else too say" i love my ancestors they were remarkable human beings" they made this country and the world better for everyone" period! Peace and blessings...

I haven't had the pleasure of going there yet because they are Closed for renovations But the significance of Sandy ground is huge this is something Staten Island should be...
