I was visiting in NYC and this church was close to where I was staying in Washington Heights - with an early morning mass (9:00 AM) . What a gift to happen into this UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL and MAGNIFICENT Catholic Church. A diverse and holy crowd at 9:00 AM Mass. Followed by the Chaplet in Spanish by a small dedicated group of women and one holy man too. This beautiful church is the second church build on this city block (first founded in 1869) Nicholas Le Brun designed the first church building, which was located at 4381 Broadway at 187th Street, which was given by James Gordon Bennett of the New York Herald, who had embraced Catholicism in his later years. The church was dedicated by Archbishop McCloskey on January 14, 1872. St. Elizabeth Church is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a welcoming community and an opportunity to grow in your faith, it is the perfect place to find your spiritual home! St. Elizabeth is located in Washington Heights; Manhattan. They offer daily masses and seven different masses on Sunday. The parishioners are friendly and welcoming, so you won’t feel like an outsider when you come to our services. I can certainly confirm that! Blessings abound. Today was the feast day of Saint Therese of Liseaux and they had a relic of St Therese that we were able to bless ourselves with after mass. Blessings abound.

This church is absolutely amazing. I was there this last Saturday early mass and was able to gift the need two small gifts, my heart ♄ was filled with unconditional love, when I shared this with my husband it was like heaven dropped like a river flow of holly water!

The Christmas decorations were just gorgeous. We loved the Christmas voice soloist and all the music. The priest had nice homilies. There are always seats available. I love the 1:30 pm Sunday English Mass.

It was my third time at this church. I really love it but church deserve respect and more respect during all readings, gospel.. in everything. I really believe that God talk to us and we deserve no to be Interrupted by others trying to sit people. I mean don’t get me wrong with that nothing wrong about it but they should do it quietly. They’re too loud you can’t even concentrate. And remember that’s not a job!!! You are...
