Concern Regarding Rotisserie Chicken Availability and Customer Service. I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring issue (02/08/2025) at your Glendale location (8989 Union Turnpike, Glendale, NY 11385) that has been causing significant inconvenience to customers, including myself.

While the store opens to the public at 6:00 AM, rotisserie chickens are consistently unavailable until 3:00–4:00 PM. This is a stark departure from industry standards, as most supermarkets typically have rotisserie chickens ready by 8:00–9:00 AM. What makes this situation particularly disappointing is that this was not an issue 5–6 months ago, when your store reliably had rotisserie chickens available by 9:00–10:00 AM. The current delay not only disrupts the shopping experience but also diminishes the convenience that many of us have come to expect from your store.

Additionally, I feel compelled to mention the concerning behavior of some employees when customers inquire about the delay. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed and experienced responses that were rude and dismissive, which is both unprofessional and unacceptable. This type of customer service tarnishes the otherwise positive reputation of Stop & Shop and leaves a lasting negative impression.

I kindly urge you to address these issues promptly. Specifically, I recommend ensuring that rotisserie chickens are prepared and available earlier in the day, as they once were, and providing additional training or guidance to staff to improve their interactions with customers.

Just left from my weekly shop and am super pissed off the management really need to supervise or re train those young men that work the deli. I stood there over 5 minutes waiting for them to acknowledge me 1 guy with glasses was cutting a massive order of cold cuts in front of me the other guy was on the side ignoring me also cutting tons of ham & the 3rd guy was walking back n forth to the back with empty trays I had to loudly say umm excuse me am I invisible I'd like some cold cuts I was still ignored another 3 or so minutes until I started telling my husband to go get the manager the the guy cutting the big order told the other guy to stop cutting the ham n wait on me btw I had to repeating myself to him what I wanted I guess he was either hard of hearing or just doesn't care to pay attention & there were 5 people already waiting in line to order behind me I took my order n told them good luck your going to be here awhile. Wish that nice efficient older lady who worked the deli last year was still there she was courteous efficient and a nice person these younger men in the deli have no customer service abilities. I'll no longer be purchasing my cold cuts...
