Sunset Beauty Supplies Inc. — Attraction in New York

Update: in response to the owners comment, how about taking some accountability of needing to provider better safer service. It is more than half of the reviews with the same exact complaint so we’re all liars ? Even given my whole Exact 5-7 minute experience in the store with description of the employees that made me feel uncomfortable you are quick to call me a liar. Pathethic but I expect nothing less. If ppl are giving you a reason to follow them then do so but I literally had a basket with a few items in just the few minutes I was there and I was next to the register where I was very visibility seen what reason did I give to be felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed? I don’t even do reviews like this but this made me very uncomfortable and clearly I’m not the only ones Do better and take accountability!!

Very racey: I worked retail I know exactly how it goes: I was the only one being followed and i was in and out in 5 minutes. 2 Spanish girls gave a head nod and smiled and proceeded to watch me as I put items into my basket lol. So happy with this store and my brief shopping experience. I read the reviews from other ladies and felt hesitant, because I’ve had experiences where I get stared down too — but I brought my partner with me and we both felt that the energy of the store was totally neutral and safe. A friendly man came over to ask if we needed help when I was stressing over which developer to buy and gave me really helpful advice on what to get. While they do carry most of your hair or beauty supply needs, most of the employees are nice and my experience would’ve even been enjoyable had it not been for the Chinese guy that stands in front of the register just..staring at me. Like literally I’ll look up every few seconds and he’s still staring. So uncomfortable and creepy i didn’t get what I came in for and I literally left.
