This Target has always irritated my nerves. Whenever I shopped there. But proximity is what keeps me coming. The characteristics of this place goes from: Poor customer service, inept workers who block aisles, never having knowledge of products and services. Then there is the CVS Pharmacy. There should be a separate building for this pharmacy. Two entities with such poor and witless services should not be together. The staff at the pharmacy lack professional training and so do the staff directly linked to Target Case on point I make a number of visits to both these entities at least twice per week. I recently went to CVS to pick up my prescription. I had a question about the medication and the attendant said I should wait on the manager. I was directed to the line to the right where you'd pickup your item if it wasn't readily available. After waiting for approximately 10-15 minutes A south Asian gentleman came around to the shelves nearby me. I was curious as to who he was so I enquired Only to learn he was the manager. I indicated to him that I have been waiting to see him for a while regarding my prescription. He scuffed at me and pointed out that I had to wait my turn because he was with another customer I thought his response was very curt and abrupt so I confronted him. I explained to him that I'd been waiting quite awhile on line before I was attended to and now I've been waiting again on the side and on top of that I have a swollen right ankle which is unbearable to stand on coming from the emergency department at the hospital. No matter the urgency of my argument this man insisted on engaging the other customers telling me I was unreasonable. They seemed to have expected to be attended to much quicker and they weren't so they were voicing their dismay. He was then feeding into their desired privilege sense of ora. This is what I gathered from their chatter. So I tried to communicate with this alleged manager that such a matter could be dealt with amicably afterwards but he wasn't having it. His response was quite obnoxious. I eventually engaged him and in parting he didn't even apologize, he kept bracing his chest in the air with both hands in his pocket like a proud peacock. Those who have luck with these lot codos to you. CVS was never like this 10 years ago. Sometimes change is bad!...
Read moreWent to go get some electronics assistance and not one, but two of the folks in the electronics department made me feel less than human. One, the lady, literally rolled her eyes as she turned to me and proceeded to look down at me as I asked her a question. Short black lady with short hair. And then the guy, taller black guy proceeded with unnecessary sarcasm, even rolled his eyes, and remained weirdly attached to another customer despite my asking for assistance first. Finally, a nice one that appeared a few minutes later, actually helped me find what I needed. Just absolutely appalling but I am used to "my people" acting a really trifling way around each other. Hence why there is no progression. Don't like your job or assisting people you don't know, that's really not my problem. They feel no one will speak up about it, but they are wrong. Enough with the nasty behaviors from customer service representatives. Your paycheck relies on our purchases! And you would think that among the same people (whom are always complaining that others keep them back) there would be some sort of decorum, but of course not. Unfortunately, I've had nice service from people outside my group, more times than in my group. It is extremely uncomfortable the way "we" act around each other but become suddenly professional around others. But I will say, the one young man, who was also a black guy did help me. I believe his name was Khalil. Nice young man. Good karma points for him and great customer service. By the way, I mention color because it is apropos to my comment. Sick and tired of the anxiety around my so called "own" because of the nastiness. Rare is the time when you get proper customer service amongst your own. Actually, I've heard this is why so many would prefer online shopping. Ironically, it's the electronics that will soon take the...
Read morePay more expect less. Messy aisles. Many products lack prices and other products are not on shelves where they belong so you have no idea what the price is. Employees have no idea of the stock and take guesses at where things might be. The lines at the checkout are so long and so slow that it generally takes longer to check out then it does to get to the store do your shopping and get back home. Management is non-existent. I have seen items fall from the shelves and hit people and I have seen pallets of merchandise blocking aisles and causing trip and fall hazards. Items can take weeks to get back into stock. Online it may tell you that the store has an item in stock but when you get there nobody knows anything about that particular item. The only thing that target has going for it is that they take back just about anything. I do everything that I can to avoid this store. They need to hire more cashiers and actually have them work the register without them constantly looking at their cell phones. This place is a disaster. The only three people in the store who care about the customer and will go out of their way to help you are a manager named Lanna, and two associates, a woman Janet, and a young man Jean Marie. These three did so much to help me get an item I was trying to find that it was incredible. They should all be rewarded however seeing the way target usually works if the corporate people find out that they were that helpful I would not be surprised if they got in trouble. Nevertheless the three of them are superior people in every way possible. I thank them from the bottom...
