This review is regarding Dental on Central Ave in Far Rockaway
After waiting almost a month for an appointment I approach the receptionist who asks for my insurance card After handing it to her she seems to want a reason to tell me I canât be seen she asks for additional insurance information although sheâs calling the insurance company I guess just to make me jump through hurdles I get the information which I know she doesnât need she stays on with the insurance company for about 15 minutes when she hangs up she has me write the information I collected on a piece of paper which she throws away That shouldâve been a red flag for me to leave but I proceed The dental assistant ask if Iâm there for a cleaning and exam I say I also have two target areas that need special attention I go on to explain my problem in those areas she takes X-rays of the two areas and has me go on to see the dentist The dentist tells me to rinse my mouth with mouthwash takes the light looks in my mouth then calls me up to the computer screen telling me she recommends I see an oral surgeon and that she writing up the recommendation I immediately ask about my cleaning and review of my other teeth She says well I have other patients youâll need to schedule another appointment After waiting a month for an appointment nothing was done and I was dismissed as if I donât matter because she was more concerned with a numbers game See more patients get more insurance money while providing NO SERVICE This experience was not only awful...
   Read moreThis office has been grossly incompetent for the better part of 10yrs so the excuse of mismanagement of higher ups has to expire at some point particularly when dealing with people LIVES. The point of a PCP is to develop medical history that improves quality of life and stay out of the ER. This office will expedite that process by either stress of the lack of commitment to the oath taken when each member of staff decided to go the medical route. Please just travel somewhere else for better care. You will not been seen for 2 months there will be no follow ups paperwork WILL go missing or never get flied/requested. Simple operating procedures will be bypassed regularly and the physicians will trama dump and gaslight you into believing because they keep accepting patients and are overwhelmed they are incapable of operating professionally and its beyond them. No one in any one department cares enough. This location is one of the biggest government subsidized money grabs in all of Queens. Do not expect quality you are just a quota to these people.    Read moreI have been trying to get a assistance via phone today and both of the receptionists I spoke to hung up the phone. Firstly, I called the medical line, a woman picked up asked me for my birthdate, laughed to her coworker about something. After I explained what I needed she said okay hold on and then I was transferred somewhere else and to a voicemail and it hung up.
I called again thinking the appointments phone line would be a better reach. Another woman picked up the phone laughed to someone on her end took my birthdate down and then forwarded me to a survey and then hung up the phone. Without any assistance, no understanding, no explanation. If what I was asking of you, you couldn't do or I am missing a step let me know. Don't just put me on hold, hang up or forward me to a survey ?
It does not make sense.
EDIT: I see you responded and no thanks. I feel hesitant to talk to anyone else on the phone. I am tired of being hunged up on, transferred multiple times, and being sent to surverys. no thanks.
