Save your money and your sanity. I enrolled my son back in 11/2024. I was quickly scheduled a tour with Michelle and Desiree. They showed us into a classroom upstairs with the windows facing E Tremont Ave. It was advertised to us that the center has an outdoor playground that is weather permitting, and for the colder months, there was an indoor playground called Make Believe Boulevard that the children would attend every day. Make Believe Boulevard indeed, because nothing that was advertised actually happened. On his first day, we were shown to a classroom downstairs and when I asked about the classroom they showed me on the tour, they told me he wouldn’t start there until December when he turned 2. This was the first time they ever informed me of this but Ms Myami and Ms Shaunice were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! When it was getting time for my son to transition into his new “twaddler” class, admin kept changing the start date. By the 3rd date they had given me, I was already annoyed, and they were quick to find their excuses. On his first official day of his twaddler class, I checked with admin on where his classroom would be and of course, it turned out not to be the classroom that was shown on my tour. I made my way to another classroom across the hall from the one I was expecting and when I introduced myself and my son to the teacher, she had no idea who I was, she wasn’t expecting me and none of his cubby items from his downstairs classroom were transferred to his new class like they told me it would be. Nothing about the classroom transition was smooth. Since the center was closed for the holidays, I asked admin on Monday morning 12/23 if my son could join later in the week to make up for the days the center would be closed which they’ve always said yes to and which was advertised to us when we did our tour. That our children would be able to make up their days missed as long as it fell within the same week. My husband and I didn’t qualify for any grants so everything was getting paid out of our own pockets. With that in mind, I was always sure to try to make up any days my son missed. After admin approved my son attending later in the week, we received a message later in the day informing us that a pipe had burst which resulted in the daycare being closed for an entire week. Due to this, another message was sent out informing us that all families would be credited for 2 days. Come January, I’m expecting credit to be applied to my account, but that doesn’t happen. I end up reaching out via phone and the next day was hit with yet another BS reason as to why they weren’t going to issue me a credit. When they finally agreed to credit me, they tried to only issue me a portion but they couldn’t pull a fast one on me. I ended up having to educate them on a quick math session which they did not like. Believe the reviews that mention that the front desk ladies are messy, gossipy and not welcoming, very specifically Raquel, Desiree and Crystal. The next time I asked to make up for my son’s missed days, they decided to retaliate against me and deny my request, trying to blame it on enrollment and staffing. Meanwhile, they were approving changes like this as early in the week as 9AM on a Monday every time I asked. For them to make poor excuses and calling it anything other than what it is, which is petty behavior is beyond unprofessional and the highest form of gaslighting. I had finally reached my breaking point with them and withdrew my son immediately. My son never got used to his new class, the teacher’s upstairs were clearly only there for a paycheck. They didn’t care about the children and even my son could tell. He cried every morning and begged me to take him with me. One of the night teachers even confirmed to me that they never took the children to the indoor playground but instead would walk the children back and forth in the hallway so they can have a “change of scenery.” This place is pathetic and desperately needs a change in management. I’m just glad I’ll be saving my $1667...
Read moreI would never recommend this place to any Parent, Please don't put your Baby here. My daughter has had many problems with this location on Tremont in the Bronx starting with Front desk Of Mixy, messy, gossiping women Especially Raquel who is on maternity leave . My grandson started a year ago he is two and he like it for the most part But then started to hate going and we found out A young lady called Dharla has not been nice to him so much that her presence has my grandson running , screaming to get away from her all she did was complain to staff that this 2 year old baby was the problem , when a child screams , runs away it has everything with that adult so at some point the director Crystal changed and put someone to care for my grandson and things got better, Or we thought !! Because of lack of help Crystal the director put Dharla back with my grandson and things got so bad it affected his day at daycare, and at home when I spoke to Crystal she was so unbothered , offered no compassion , she said it was all my grandson fault when I asked her why she placed my grandson back with this lady She said" I had no other staff" so in my mind you dont care you lack understanding, empathy and understanding . At the meeting she tried to take over not trying to hear real concerns I had to ask her if I could speak , she gave the worst look and just complained about my grandson with every word . I left in tears . This Tremont site has ACS investigating serious abuse and maltreatment, most recent a 2 year old girl whose ear was lacerated by a staff member in my Grandson class I couldn't make this up if I wanted to!! This place needs to be down because before other kids get hurt It's not a kids place it's all about Money And hiring all People barely out of high school with no experience or educational degrees . The little girl had to have stitches to repair her ear that tells me someone yanked her ear !! They told Mom the kid fell!! Please don't send your kid to This...
Read moreNot very happy about this school. The school Is beautiful and very clean but when going to orientation they’re not clear on certain things when I first went my baby boy was 10 months old and they advised me since he was on baby food I had to bring his own food. I went to sign my baby up and went to orientation and if it wasn’t for the teacher to tell me I had to bring his own breakfast and lunch I wouldn’t have known this. They only provide snacks which is crazy for a parent to have to get ready especially when rushing to work. They won’t refund me my registration money either because they “held” my spot which I feel is wrong because they weren’t even informing me of the correct things during the tour. If I would have known about the food situation I would have went elsewhere because most of the daycares provide these services especially with the amount this school is charging it should be included. Lesson learned. In addition, there is nothing stating on ANY of the paperwork that we had to supply the food, so its a wrong on their behalf. On the supply list it just mentions pampers, wipes, sippy cups, all the essentials nothing about FOOD. On their website on the toddler schedule it says about their time schedule and the time they eat breakfast and so forth so Of course as a parent you are thinking this is provided to them since ALL daycares provide this. Please re-do your supply list and on the website mention this and also during orientation mention it as well and during the tour that this is for all AGE groups not just infants because if I knew this I would have never proceeded with the registration and give my hard earned money to.
The owner asked to email her which I did and has not even got back to me and it’s been...
