Prescott, Arizona = Ultimate Hiking Destination! With granite boulders, creeks, and lakes you can find a bit of everything in Prescott, Arizona for hiking! And, after you’ve worked up an appetite there’s a vibrant food scene to enjoy in Prescott! One of my favorite places to go after a hike is Colt Grill to grab some of their famous barbecue! You can’t experience the true west without having some barbecue! My personal favorite is their smoked chicken plate. Here are some of my favorite trails: - Wolf Creek Loop, 4.9 miles, 639 feet elevation gain - Lynx Lake Loop, 2.6 miles, 78 feet elevation gain - Goldwater Lake Loop, 2.4 miles, 134 feet elevation gain - Spruce Mountain Lookout, 7.2 miles, 1,738 feet elevation gain - Watson Lake and Flume Trail, 4.8 miles, 426 feet elevation gain Here are some awesome restaurants to check out after your hike: - The Porch Prescott. Try their crepes, flavors rotate daily! @porchprescott - Torme. Their Rustic Pasta is a great way to fill up on carbs after a hike. - Colt Grill. Their smoked barbecue plates are award winning and feature the best barbecue in Arizona! @coltgrillbbqandspirits - Wild Iris Cafe. Grab some of their tasty quiche which changes flavors daily. @wildiriscafe Please make sure to recreate responsibly and leave no trace when hiking in Prescott. That means packing out all trash and waste and leaving it better than you found it. @experienceprescott @tripscout #experienceprescott #sponsored

Well that was terrible. Went here a few times as it's close to home and only a couple of other options nearby and it was good before: tasty food and good service. This time... incredible how far it fell. Sat outside as it was a beautiful day and it was super slow, no one acknowledged us for 10 mins after they seated us. That's fine. Finally ordered...Chai latte came out (really good one, must say), but it was hot instead of iced as ordered. That's fine. No other signs of life as food didn't come for 45 mins and a big red warning sign was flashing when after 45 mins the waitress came by to confirm our food order while saying "the food is coming". Confidence decreasing. Not to mention no water refills in sight for our thirsty souls. That's fine. Crab roll that we ordered that was supposed to come out with the entrees showed up first, and it was bad. Cold pre-made crab salad on a poorly-toasted (if at all) bun. Not good. Pictured here. Do not order. Not fine. Then 3 entrees came out (we ordered 4 entrees plus the crab roll and a kids meal) and they messed up 2 - salad with avocado had no avocado and veggie burger had cheese instead of avocado as ordered. Waitress argued that was not what we ordered... but 4 against 1 (5th of us was a toddler). Burger didn't look good anyway. Returned it and cancelled. Waitress brought back a new one (we did not want it) with serious attitude. Practically dropped the plate on the table. No other acknowledgment by anyone who worked there until we had to ask a busboy for the check, and the check was wrong because they charged us for the 4th entree that never showed up... and what do you know, a wild turkey sandwich appears as we're signing the correct check. Terrible. The dishes that did show up were fine. Nothing special. Not worth 2 hours of our time nor their price. Only good thing I can say is the view is good. But not a single other thing. Will never go back.

Overall, I had a great experience here. It's a cozy spot to come with family, a friend or three, or by yourself to read a book while enjoying some great food. I ordered the salmon, which came with bok choy; plus a side of broccolini. It was all cooked to perfection. The teriyaki flavor on the salmon could possibly be considered a bit too salty by some, but I thought it was perfect. I did not regret a single bite. If there was any suggestion I'd have, it would be to give the option for a little less teriyaki sauce. The server was kind and attentive. The only very slightly negative part of the experience was confusion as to whether I should wait to be seated or just sit down myself. I didn't see any signs, so I just picked a cozy spot to sit and it was fine. That minor confusion was well outweighed by the rest of the experience.

Leaving one star because the service and management (Chris) if he even is a manager is deplorable. I had a reservation yesterday evening, received several confirmations which I replied to all confirming my attendance yet when I arrive the restaurant is closed. The doors were locked, the restaurant was empty and nobody was there.

Upon trying to call this morning to speak to somebody about my experience I was put on hold for 10 minutes while I heard people laughing and joking around in the background. I eventually hung up and called back again to try and get somebody on the phone and this is when Chris answered. I asked Chris if he could please share his full name with me as he identified himself as the manager, and instead he hung up on my face. This is such unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.

I will never visit this restaurant and advise anyone if you do, to make sure the place is actually open before you get there. Confirming with a guest that their reservation stands for them to arrive and the restaurant be closed and to not even notify your guest is unbelievable. I have reached out to Resy regarding this matter since their reservations go through them and at least Resy was professional and stated they would handle the situation...

I and my friend wanted to watch the Wimbledon like everyone else who were there today. We ordered an egg sandwich and a burrito plate. They served the egg plate without forks, knifes and small plates although we told them we would share. Then they forgot the burrito plate. Terrible service!

The lady who was sitting next to us asked them to turn on the volume multiple times, they kept saying they will but they didn't. She had ordered a coffee and stated that she will order food later. Then when she was on the phone the bartender interrupted her and started an argument regarding her request to turn on the volume. It was unbelievable. He was literally yelling by his words to a customer. Also he told her ‘you are sitting here and having only a coffee’. We were shocked and speechless the way they treated a customer. She repeated that she had ordered coffee for now and will order food later. She hanged up the phone and went to pay for her coffe. She was trying to explain the situation to the server right behind us. At the end the lady said she will not be back after the way she was treated. The server goes ‘don’t come back, that is a great decision’

What kind of people work here? We will never be...
