Flushing Meadows Park is a large park for those that may not know. Take a moment to read the history, size etc. It has many entrances. Worlds Fair Playground is in the park. Yesterday we wanted to see the birds and ducks at what appear its natural state. The birds seem to have found a portion of Flushing lake where they sit, fly, eat, pop etc. The sight itself looks a little unkept. Very muddy and much pop. but im guessing it's due to winter months. I did noticed construction crews working there so I am sure they are preparing things for the upcoming good weather. WORLDS FAIR PLAYGROUND usually looks nice in the warmer weather. Kids, families all come by. The culture mix is amazing . You really need to come early to find a good spot.bring your chairs, food etc. Great place for kids to run around. Try your best TO COVER YOUR FOOD AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT FEED THEM or they will all come YOU and hang around you which is very annoying. I am hoping they clean up the area, especially near the lake coast line. Also hoping they do mosquito spray as there will definitely be issues there. So if you visit the area in the warmer months, be sure to pack mosquito...
