Don’t waste your time. The first two facilities I was scheduled for, when I arrived, they didn’t have me on the schedule at all. They had to “find an assignement” for me to take, stating they never confirmed my shifts with allshifts, and the agency never reached out to let me know anything. The next shift I was scheduled for, I called the facility myself, and was told once again, we don’t have you on the schedule. Allshifts never reached out to me, I had to reach out to them to let them know and their response was “just write down you showed up for the 4 hours pay.” The facility that I was supposed to work for that day, Im very familiar with their staff. I reached out to them, and they asked me to work doubles If i can, and I agreed. I worked two doubles and a single shift this weekend, Allshifts was made aware, and Not only have I not received payment, my account is suspended from picking up shifts.
This morning, I reached out to all shifts regarding my pay, and the suspension. I was told “this facility pays weekly, they submit timesheets on tuesdays.” Nowhere is this information listed regarding his facility on their app. I also asked why my account was suspended and “A” the person who answered the phone was extremely disrespectful to me as If he was bothered by me needing help or asking questions. He told me I called out for my shifts, I’ve never had a shift to call out for. I had to set up my own shifts in order to work because they never ever confirm or cancel your shifts, they’ll let you get to a facility and that’s it. I asked him if they’re was a supervisor I could speak to, and he said “no there isn’t at this time”, I then asked if they were located in Newark because sometimes when you talk to a person face to face you get different results, and he advised they don’t service anyone on site. He then stated “your account manager will reach out to you with a decision,” AND HUNG UP ON ME. Disconnected the call. So not only did I not get paid for breaking my back this weekend, working short, have over 17 residents by myself each shift, I NEVER GOT PAID FOR IT AND MY ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED FOR NO REASON.
do NOT work here. They are unorganized, rude, and they truly don’t know how to run this business.
UPDATE: I’m not sure who the owner or person in charge is however, I’m impressed. Anthony reached out to me to let me know my account was fixed, payroll was processed for both hours worked and the inconvenience pay for the shifts that wasn’t canceled I showed for, along with a gift card for all that I just went through. I appreciate the accountability, and the professionalism of Anthony who gave me a call. As business owners we often make mistakes, as no company is perfect, how we choose to handle problems as they arise is what’s most important. Thank you for...
Read moreBeware of AllShifts: Unethical Practices and False Advertising
As a Director of Nursing who has had an absolutely dreadful experience with AllShifts. The platform not only engages in predatory practices but also operates in a manner that is unprofessional and misleading.
First and foremost, I have never signed up with AllShifts, yet they consistently post shifts for my facility without my authorization. As a Director of Nursing, I am responsible for overseeing the staffing needs of my facility, and it is both infuriating and unacceptable that AllShifts operates in a way that undermines this responsibility. The fact that they are advertising shifts at my facility without my consent is not only a breach of professional ethics but also an intrusion into the management of my nursing staff.
What is particularly concerning is the false hope that AllShifts provides to CNAs and nurses looking for additional shifts. The platform leads these healthcare professionals to believe that there are available shifts at my facility, which is far from the truth. This not only creates confusion among staff but also wastes their time and effort as they attempt to pick up non-existent shifts.
Despite my attempts to rectify this situation, AllShifts has proven to be unresponsive and negligent. I have called them three times to be removed from their list of available shifts, and each time, my requests have fallen on deaf ears. The lack of concern for the accuracy of their information and the impact on healthcare professionals is truly disheartening.
AllShifts' persistence in allowing staff to believe that shifts are available at my facility, despite my explicit disapproval, reflects a complete disregard for the integrity of the healthcare staffing process. Their actions are not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the smooth operation of healthcare facilities.
I strongly advise against using AllShifts due to their unethical practices, false advertising, and lack of responsiveness to legitimate concerns. Healthcare professionals deserve a reliable and trustworthy platform for finding additional shifts, and AllShifts has proven to be anything...
Read moreI signed up with All American 2 months ago. The intake process was a breeze, as I uploaded all of my documents online and was approved to request shifts the same day. The first 3 weeks ran smoothly, as I was able to request shifts through the All Shifts app and get approved within a few minutes or a few days. Since then, it has been like being in a lottery to get approved for a shift. Quite often, they will decline a shift and then send out a text within minutes, that they need RNs to cover that same shift. There was even an instance where a DFS site manager called me one Sunday morning to ask if I could come in to work , because All American sent cancellation emails to everyone instead of actually confirming anyone to work that day. When calling to speak to an account manager, payroll, etc I am always told that I will get a call back, which never actually happens. Then, the company on the whole, never seems to be on the same accord. If I call to ask a specific question...I will get 4 diff answers, if I speak to 4diff people. A few weeks ago, a nurse was unable to work a shift and asked if I could work in her place and it wasn't a problem. Now when I recently asked to pass off my shift to another nurse, there were so many different excuses from a few different people, as to why I cannot swap my shift. One of them being, that the nurse couldn't work for me because she had not completed the dfs mandatory disability training, which they never emailed to her to begin with. So I sent it to her and she completed it. Then she was told that I cannot send it to her and that she needs to wait for them to send it to her but they don't know when they will. So basically, there maybe a plethora of RNs waitlisted for jobs, but still never be confirmed to actually work because they weren't sent mandatory paperwork. I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from any other nursing agency that...
