I went in in June to cancel, followed PF’s rules and filled out the form. Didn’t cancel, went back in August and filled out the form again, didn’t cancel. Manager said she would call me multiple times, didn’t call me. Finally got her on the phone and was just screamed at, like literally she had to have been red in the face SCREAMING at the top of her lungs saying I was lying bc I still went using my friends guest pass under his black card account? Who screams in the phone and insults a customer? This planet fitness is also the most unkept one I’ve been to. A good bit of equipment is always tagged out but never fixed, the locals are meat heads who grunt and act a fool around you while staring, and the condition of the bathrooms.: I would rather use a truck stop. I’m not even kidding, absolutely vile, a friend of mine got a nasty foot infection from walking IN SOCKS on their floors and is contacting a lawyer about a lawsuit. She would only refund me for one month, instead do the 5 that’s has gone by since they failed to do their job correctly in June, and how hard is it to even work at a pf?? Like seriously, unprofessional, unfriendly, judgmental, and arrogant staff. Will never step foot in here again and will have my other 6 friends who currently attend to cancel their memberships as well. Never have I ever been spoken to so disrespectfully as the way I was on the phone call that should’ve happened 5 months ago. Read morePlanet fitness on Broad street is scheduled to open at 5am so it can be very convenient with my work schedule. Until today. I got to the door at 4:59 only to see no one was inside the gym. I, along with 5 other people, waited for the location to be opened until 5:20am. It was at that point a woman walked up in her pajamas, it was obvious she had been inconvenienced as well, to tell us the Guys who work there were confused about if they should be at work this morning or something along those incompetent lines bc there was a plumbing issue so the location would not be open. The bottom line is There was no signage stating the gym would be closed today or an individual present to inform paying customers. It is very obvious this establishment has not been Provided adequate training on customer service, effective systems to ensure high functioning of the gym daily, or professionalism from the owner/manager and staff. As a manager myself, I know it is the responsibility of any leader to ensure all staff members are prepared for success through being clear on expectations and leading by example. It is evident that is not a value of planet fitness Broad street. I will not be returning to the broad street location and I suggest others don’t waste their time as well. Read moreSame as the survey I am making a formal complaint about an employee who tried to have me pay 5 dollars for her own personal reasons. She said the club number on my account was not that of the gym although I have my membership agreement which states the appropriate club number for the Newark, NJ location. I also showed the app info that clearly stated the Newark location as the home gym. Instead of giving a viable reason as to why I should just give her 5 dollars, she stated call the prior gym. The employee refused to give a proper procedure for customer complaints or even her actual name. Thankfully I knew from prior horrible customer service her name, but this is ridiculous. My club number stated the Newark location was my home gym, so why was she trying to charge me $5? After trying but failing to receive 5 dollars she ignored my requests for her name and the acting manager refused to state her name as well. The interaction was recorded and the manager and employee acted together to try and ignore me. There was only two employees who rectified the situation by confirming the info I provided was indeed correct. Is this a scam this employee conducts on customers who do not know enough and how many customers prior has she charged without merit?
