honestly I had a different expectations for a candy shop the gal working could not seem to ring anything up without messing up the balance beyond the point of oops at one point I think she had it $10,000.00 then proceeded to try and delete one thing at a time to fix it. this was frustrating thank goodness my mother stopped her and suggested she printed it and try to re-ring it up using it as a reference guide to what was already picked and bagged.. I still maintain that we were over charged on several items ultimately got less than 20 items and the bill was $56 just for singles on chocolate no novelties or keepsakes just candy that was clearly priced.. if u interested in getting a variety they should have a variety box flat rate to help that poor woman who is easily overwhelmed by everything. probably make less money tho because she wouldn't be able to mess anything up at the register. we had lunch nextdoor at off the hook and I'm just saying that place had even worse customer service!! save your money skip both these places.. the only thing that restaurant has going for them was the lil gambling room that was packed with daily gambling old guys the food was over cooked and the drinks were bad. and the mother daughter wait staff should heavily consider a different line of work one that makes it ok to slide in a both to hv a good 30 min conversation while paying customer didn't get a menu even. I had to go grab one myself and even though these waitress seen me get napkins for our tables and menus did they bother to get up nope. both places are 1 and done I'll never go back to either one next time we head...

TONS of different candies; some of which was obviously shipped in, but the bulk of the selection was made in house, and I wish I could’ve tried one of everything. We purchased a couple of dark chocolate vanilla creams, a few dark chocolate s’mores, a bag of fresh caramel corn, and a beautiful ship decoration that was surprisingly cheap, in their gift shop department.
Any candy store on the coast is going to be spendy. But I didn’t have any issue with their prices, considering how much of it was made in house, and the quality methods I observed them using. Overall I would say that their prices rank somewhere in the middle compared to the other shops I’ve visited, but the quality was far superior to many.
Next time I intend to try their fudge to see if it possibly compares with my grandmas cooked...
Read moreMy first time here was fun, educational and the customer service I received from RICHARD was TOP NOTCH. He told me the chocolate I purchased would cause me "to come back". Well, he was right!
The following week I did return. And the service I received from the 2 girls in the back was beyond AWEFUL. They were so rude that I just left.
I returned the following week and the 2 girls were there.....I left again.
So, if you chose to do business here, you should only do it with RICHARD. His people skills are top notch! He works at night.
Or....the candy store in Lincoln City, Reads Candy, is worth the drive and I think their chocolate is better. The owner and employees are very...
