I came here with my little cousin as a guest. I enjoyed the gym and it had nice amenities. I returned again with my son. We both planned to get a membership. However the lady in the gym decided the be very nasty to my cousin and continue to embarrass her in front of the entire gym about bringing us. Not knowing we where there to actually get a membership. That put a very bad taste in my mouth. Very poor customer service. We stayed about an hour. I guess staff leaves in the evening. The staff was laying on the chairs very sloppy. It gave trap house vibe. My son decided not to move forward with a membership. I thought long and hard. I enjoyed the gym with my cousin and it seemed like any other gym honestly nothing special. So I decided to get a membership. The same one as my cousin had. She pays $60 for hers. I was like pricey but whatever. When signing up that $60 she had jumped to 70$+ still whatever. I moved forward. After reading reviews the following day. And actually logging in and looking at my account that $70+ turning into $80+. When signing it was explained to me what I was signing was for " if I wanted to use a trainer" So I read the contract. It has a clause if I cancel in writing with in 3-days. I can cancel. So the very next day I came to cancel. I writing. 2 copies one for me one for them. I signed I asked for an acknowledgement sign of receive. They bald guy threw his hands up saying I am not singing anything. ????? You can't acknowledge my letter to cancel???? He said Robin will be in on Monday. Which is outside of my 3 days??? To my surprise she did call she said it was canceled and I will be refunded. Which I was refunded. Just as a precaution from reviews I put in a block for any charges moving forward. I do not give access to withdrawal money from my account since my cancellation. I also sent a message same day I cancelled to corp. They have yet to respond.

Bottom line the gym is like every other gym. The people who go there seem nice and none judgmental. Plenty of equipment and rooms to do all types of exercises. It's is fairly clean in there. Spray cleaner bottles are somewhat easy to find. Staff is lacking, ownership and corp are lacking, over priced for what it is. Does have several payments plans, membership plans to tailor for your needs even day passes. Water stations and nice locker rooms. Plenty of parking also close to other businesses. A lot of equipment and did not seem to get over crowded. It's a hit or miss gym few tweaks could be a really great place. It just lacked professionalism, and quality standards for...

After yesterday I am expressing my gratitude and thank you for the introduction to ONYX. From Buhl Club, NCYMCA, Iron Works of New Castle, Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness & of course University Center & Fieldhouse gym I used when I attended Edinboro from 1998-2003. Your facility is by far the best offering I’ve seen as I see from realistic standards point what you offer versus what you could offer or be. Plus, you have several items from masseuse, chiropractor, climbing wall and very extremely diverse class offerings unlike anything g I’ve seen unless you live in NYC, LV, LA, Miami or Boston. To have it throughout Ohio is simply amazing.

Nico, did an excellent job showing me around the health club and answering any question I had as did you. Plus phone call from Vicki was excellent as well. As you are truly a team not one or two people trying to do everything. How ONYX uses TikTok, IG, Facebook and website is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s something I’m glad to see!

With three floors of fun and utilization I’m eager and will be pleasantly satisfied using. I’ll admit I thought monthly fee would be higher yet you provide a membership fee that is very reasonable and I’m getting more far more than what I’ve paid for over last 14 years as I tend to go to Arnold Sports Festival, I’ve been looking for this.

Went to sign up and stood outside for 15 minutes before a member let us in. Stood at the desk for 20 min before filling out paperwork ourselves. After becoming members my gf was going up the steps with a hoodie around her waist when the ginger, trainer sal was at the bottom leaning forward so he could look up her hoodie. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He didn’t know I was standing right there. Once he saw me he immediately switched his attention back to the client he was training to act like he wasn’t doing anything wrong. I said nice view up there huh? He was embarrassed as he should be. I told the manager Robyn. She immediately came to his defense telling me how great he is and that he’s getting married next month..which would make it worse in my opinion. Then Robyn continued to tell me what to say on my cancellation form in hopes to protect her unprofessional, employee Sal. My gf also received daily, non stop calls and voicemails from the same guy at this location after already being a member but received no calls prior to going to this location. The Brad and chad’s that work at this location are extremely desperate, and unprofessional. Makes for a bad atmosphere. Especially when they’re looking up people’s...
