Floor & Decor — Attraction in Norco

Mixed feelings. First, wow - so much inventory. My husband and I are having 2 bathrooms remodeled and looking for carrera marble for our bathrooms.

I love the mock up displays at the end of the aisles, it really helped us narrow down our choice. But I do have one criticism; please stock the tiles you display on the model end caps of the aisle.

It's very frustrating to decide on a design pattern based on your displays only to find PART of the supplies in stock. Simply put, we wanted to duplicate what the sample mock up looked like, but couldn't due to stock issues. It's been going on for weeks.

This has actually happened to us more than once at your store. To compensate, we changed marble colors multiple times and again we found no tiles in stock for the size and colors to remain even semi- consistent with the design story on display.

The staff are very knowledgeable and quick to ask if you need help but, when it came to out of stock tiles not 1employee suggested a remedy. So now, I'm wondering if you could update the design boards to reflect what you routinely stock. Perhaps that may help someone else in the future.

Also for reference, going back to our 1st visit, we made an appointment and met with a designer on our second trip and while she was nice, she was literally no help at all. She asked what pattern we wanted to go with and at the time we were undecided. I honestly felt she was there to only answer questions and take notes not give ideas or suggestions.

I'm sorry but this is an honest impression, we simply FLOUNDERED tirelessly in your store and have spent hours and hours wandering back and forth, trying to put together 1 comprehensive color story for our bathroom shower walls.

Is this store geared more for industry professionals / house flippers?

Update update update Floor and Decor it's nice that you responded to my review but I never stated that I have an account with your company. Sorry there's nothing for you to review, but take my word, your inventory needs some shaping up. Please review my complete critique, walk thru and see if YOU can start and finish a project in the gray marble with 3 designs you have at the outside aisle in your store. You can't. It has a honed 4" marble diamond pattern included in the design.

Additionally, I don't dislike your store or what you offer. It's just that we were willing to spend more for a more intricate design. I love what we have.

We had the best experience ever we were looking for tile to upgrade our bathroom we went to several Home Depot’s several lowes worst experience ever we had no clue what or how even to start shopping for tile I mean we knew we wanted tile but just how much the design aspect was confusing and again no help at lowes or Home Depot on the other hand husband and I would come out fighting becuz we had no clue and no one to guide us so we decided to drive about an hour to floor and decor and let me tell you best experience ever at first all salesman were busy but we asked and the guy that we asked is like oh yes I will be happy to help you, my husband showed him what he liked again we had no clue how much tile or anything we would need the salesman drew out on a paper what my husband described and height , etc… he is like okay this is how much we need and he priced what we liked but it was a bit pricy over our budget for sure so he told us, since i know you like this let me give you a tour of what we have and see if there is anything that you would like so he did we went all around compared he was so patient and gave us ideas at the end we found somethjng we loved and we ended up spending our budget even less it was the best experience ever!! His name was Josh at the home decor in norco he was the best he even helped us load up the car he was with us in line while we paid it was just the best customer service we have ever received overall anywhere if you are ever to go to this store look for Josh I am not saying the other employees are not great but we had our experience with him and that is why I can only recommend Josh overall the store was big and clean and we definitely will be back thanks Josh for all your help and patience with us and helping us and giving us ideas for our bathroom, thank you for your time oh plus we had kids with us so you know how all that goes.
