I was walking by and saw a 25% off sign on a rack outside the store. I looked and found 2 items I was heading to Walmart for. So I started my shopping. The store was really dirty with spoiled food on the shelves. I would not recommend buying food here. How they keep rats from running around, I'm not sure, because it looks like a rats paradise! Never noticed it this dirty before, but on 9-19-24, it was not fit for humans in the food section. I looked through the clothing, decore and outside section finding more items that were supposed to be 25% off. Got to the check out, and the cashier said my stuff that had lured me because they were listed as 25% off, really weren't discounted. I explained that they were outside with a big sign, but she was adamant that they were from a different section. Note that they were outside doormat and yoga mat, which totally should have been included in the sale. I bought them anyway because everything there takes so much time! Do not go in expecting a quick shopping experience. I wish I had been more adamant about the discount and made her get the manager. So be VERY careful at the checkout counter. They forget the discounts or flat out ignore them. 4 YEARS AGO I GAVE A 5 STAR RATING It is worth digging through the boxes for clothing so inexpensive! Some of them as low as 50 cents. They do have a 7 day return policy so you can buy take it home try it and take it back or keep it. Found clothing from 4x to size 4 skinny jeans. If you buy food be sure to check for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood Discount store and a variety of products for those seeking bargains. Really good selection of products although heads up, for those new to the format it might be a bit more chaotic than your regular grocery stores, however some of the discounts are amazing. 50 cents for a 8 oz of premium Parmesan that goes for 2.50$ at any other store, 50 cent premium protein bars out during our trip could be found in the bin alongside others. Of course with bargain stores, some items will be mushed out or expired like the local NPS store in Salt lake we grew up with (if anyone is familiar with there), the idea is the same. They get discount wares/surplus products out from other retailers and sell them at a huge markdown, you can get steals out there but you'll have to do a lot of your searching out as well. Some of the stuff will be around the same price out as anywhere else, and of course with any bargain store, you have to watch out to make sure you get the good stuff. Avoiding any broken packaging/bags, dented cans, etc. From what i've seen out at this new location during the first month it really seems to have a lot of good stuff, sure a decent amount of it gets damaged after all (around 30% of the items i saw out in the misc bins might be a little distorted, but nothing major out on the shelves, etc: a tiny crease out in the bottom of a can, or a tiny pushed in corner), just buy the stuff that isn't damaged, there's enough stock for you to avoid most of it if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure if the owner/manager business strategy is evolving but I have been finding fewer and fewer "deals" when I shop here. In the past this used to be an amazing place to get all things dog related and for good prices. They had great deals on snacks, food and sometimes toys. For the past several months now the dog selection has become nearly non-existent. There are still items on the shelves in this area that have been there for months and months. I know they "get what they get" in the truck but recently they received a shipment of dog food that is laughably overpriced for what you would expect from this kind of store and compared to the great prices they have had in the past. Now I am in the habit of looking the products up online before purchasing and lately almost everything pet related is maybe two or three dollars cheaper than what I could get brand new and non-expired from online. It is a shame that prices have been incrementally rising for the past several months. I used to love shopping here and snagging a good deal and now I just leave empty handed and dissapointed almost every time.
Also, Logan Outlet was a much better name. I'm not sure what the market research was on "Big Deal" but I think it was a...
