So I just moved to the area about a month ago, and just found out about Sushi Go last week. Since then, I’ve been 3 times 😂 This place is a hidden gem, and is absolutely fantastic!
It’s all ready-made sushi, and there’s traditional maki rolls, nigiri, and more fun rolls like the Hawaiian, Aggie Crunch, and others. You can mix and match all you want, with each roll only costing $6! It’s a great deal, and what’s even more surprising is how good the sushi is considering the cost.
The portions of fish in each roll are generous, everything is really fresh, the rice is well seasoned, and all in all it’s very good! It’s not going to knock your socks off though, but for only $6 each it’s incredible.
To top it off, it’s a one man show, with the owner making rolls in the back counter and running the register at the same time. He’s super friendly, and checkout is always a breeze.
Overall I highly recommend this place, and is really fantastic for lunch! I’m gonna be a...
Read moreDelicious sushi, and you can't beat the price, 5$ for a whole entire roll, with their own local flavors? We were skeptical at first, wondering perhaps if it were per by plate or piece but quite pleasantly surprised.
It has kind of a "Mom and Pop" kind of feel to it, the owner is very friendly out and seemed very passionate about his work, and it's actually very good sushi that's beat rolls we've splurged 15$ for before, theres all sorts of fun topping you can get, from fried tofu Inari, to NIgiri, Tuna topped rolls, and unlike those other sushi joints that skimp out on a tiny dime sized roll with a thin sliver of sushi it seemed packed on the inside with all the ingredients. I got some kind of Kalminari Squid roll and it was delicious, they even have local flavors too for the aggies that featured fried onions and squid and a myriad of toppings, California rolls, exotic foods, etc,...
Read moreOkay, I have to say it — Sushi Go completely blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much walking in since it’s a pretty simple spot, but wow, was I wrong. This place is proof that you should never judge a sushi joint by its decor.
The sushi here is as good as any fancy restaurant I’ve been to, maybe better. The fish is so fresh it tastes like it came straight off the boat 😅 Every roll is perfectly balanced — just the right amount of rice, fish, and sauce. You can tell the owner really care about the details here.
Also… the rice-to-fish ratio. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference. You’re not getting those rolls stuffed with a ton of rice and a sliver of fish. Here you get plump, fresh cuts of fish that actually feel substantial. And the price! Amazing.
Honestly, I haven’t had sushi this good in a while. It’s that good. If you’re in Logan and craving sushi, go...
