Tao Foot Massage — Local services in North Miami Beach

I have been using this massage salon consistently, usually once per week. My latest massage, (yesterday) was done by a woman. I chose to have 2 hours; $40 for feet and $60 for body. The massage was professional and done very well. However, at the end, I was made very uncomfortable by the therapist. In addition to the $100 cash fee for two hours, I left a $10 cash tip for the lady. She looked at me horrified, complaining it was two whole hours and tip must be higher. So I took back the $10 and gave $20. She still looked disappointed, smirked and sarcastically laughed. She did not say thank you. The whole experience was completely ruined. The stress that was relieved instantly came back. She went at the back muttering to herself and speaking in a foreign language with her colleagues. I saw this as I waited inside on the couch, for my Uber. I did try to get the attention of a manager but no one seemed to speak in English. I was very disappointed with her behaviour and attitude towards me and unfortunately am highly uncertain if I’ll be using this salon again, which is a shame as it’s only a 5 minute drive away from my home. I urge the owners to either increase the prices of massage, or to write down what minimal tips are expected per amount spent. Does not disappoint! It depends on what you want and how much pressure you would like them to apply. They always ask me if I'm all right throughout the massage and I like that because they adjust according to the pressure you want. I like the fact that they know the knots and work their way through them instead of me pointing them out. I usually have deep pressure in most areas so I can't say if they have "soft" hands. Although, I'm sure if you want them to apply little to no pressure, they can do that. I always go for the 60min full body massage and towards the end, they apply the hot stones. It is very hot, but feels good when applied correctly. Yes, tip seems to be mandatory here lol, however, I always tip so I don't know if they actually hound you for it. Unfortunately pushing for gratuity hasn’t stopped. I had an ok experience during the massage, feet massage was ok but not very relaxing and too repetitive going over the same part of the foot over and over again (not worth to book 60min because you keep waiting for it to be over). Then I extended for 30min back massage because I was after training and felt tight. I was given more of a gentle rub, not to mention 10/15min of it was focused more on my legs/glutes rather than the back. At the end I was paying with card and once I put 10% tip I was almost yelled at by the man who did my massage saying “only this much??
