Beef Jerky Experience — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

So me and my husband along with 2 of our kids walk into this establishment. The employee just finished ringing up a customer, looked at us and walked to stock some jerky. I politely ask if they have beef jerky samples we could try and he said yes. So another minute later he hasn’t come over to us so I ask “do I reach in and get the sample out of the bin” and he says can you not read it clearly says you need to ask for samples!! Then he stomps over to the counter and grabs his scissors all while rolling his eyes and comes over to us and asks him high one. By now I am fuming bc the lack of respect, customer service has now been appalling. I turned to my husband and said you know what never mind I think we are just gonna leave. So as we are walking out he says, “these stupid mf’s just wasted my time”!!! Oh yes he said the real words. I told my husband to take the kids outside. So I asked how did we waste your time!! This was our first time ever in your store and you know when you are not wanted. There were so many bad words I just wanted to yell at him and smack him in the back of his head but I stayed grounded and didn’t. He said if I didn’t leave he was going to call security and for me to have a good day! This was the time that I wished I would have filmed such a Scenario to reflect the disrespect that I as a customer Endured. I asked for his name which was PHILLIP. Please, please, make sure Phillip does not treat anymore customers like he did this one. You as a business lost out on a sale today and for the future bc I will share this story. We visited one of these in VA Beach last year and had a blast tasting all the different jerky. We went to this store thinking the same thing and were very disappointed. They did not let you pick your samples they had to get them for you. Which I totally understand. When they pulled the samples out they cut them using scissors they pulled out of thier pockets. That's just nasty. I dont know what they have had in thier pockets. And that is not very sanitary. The staff seemed very annoyed to help us with anything but were very pushy about purchasing thier products. It was like we let you taste it now you have to buy it. We did spend well over $30 in this store. But did not do any taste tasting after we noticed where they were pulling the scissors...
