I went to Goodwill today and there was a gentleman working today that I have never seen before so I take it that he just started. He said his name was Jamie and he greeted me with a smile and positive attitude.Anyhow, he could see I was overwhelmed and had my hands full plus trying to keep up with my kids (borderline off losing my mind) he was so thoughtful and helpful. He ran and grabbed a cart for me helped me put my items in the cart was so respectful and kind. My kids were starting to show out fuss s alot but He even went out of his way to entertain my 3 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son so I could finish my shopping. He had them laughing and so happy. I have never seen such great customer service at this location. The employes here have always acted like they hated the jobs and if you needed help with anything you were a burden. But this man was exceptionally amazing. He was so attentive to the over all appearance the store of and making sure all the merchandise was nearly displayed. Bless his heart he would organize and have a section looking perfectly organized and 5 mins later a customer would mess it all up and without any hesitation or negative attitude he would jump right on it making sure it looked good again. Truthfully I always DREAD going shopping especially at this location with my little ones l. It's difficult when you have kids who act out at times and your trying to achieve a shopping list for an important reason and the employees act like jerks the entire time your there but that wasn't the case at all this time. I look forward to going back this was the best shopping experience I have ever had at any Goodwill hands down. And my little ones can't wait to see their new...
Read moreFrom the beginning me and my family walked in and I audibly said, wow, such a big store. A lot bigger than ours in NC. I was impressed on how filled the shelves were. Then I understood why. Like most goodwill stores, prices are predetermined. For example cups may be 50 cents or a dollar. Well if that’s what your looking for you can cross that off your list. A simple metal bowl painted silver was a whopping $15! I, a golfer decided to check out their selection of clubs, which was large. At any normal goodwill, irons are $2 and woods are $3. Well their woods were $15! A simple item in their store costed more than it did new. My family who is visiting drove over an hour to come because we love to go thrifting. May I add that gas is nearly $5 a gallon which made the commute fairly pricey. As for this goodwill, I would rather rip out my brain stem, run out into the nearest 4 way intersection and jump rope with it than come to this goodwill again. I am severely disappointed in this goodwill and will never make a visit to this branch ever again. It has positively ruined my vacation. To see a place so stingy on something that was given to them is disgusting and sinful. So much for helping the community. After I saw the prices I believe I needed a new pair of trousers(which I remind you I could not afford due to their extremely high prices. If you and your family are looking for a decent goodwill this is not the...
