Samantha’s Boutique — Attraction in North Township

We came here and thought it was going to be such an amazing process and we’re sadly mistaken by the end. At first everyone was friendly, professional and very accommodating. We found and picked our dress, celebrated and I put my down payment and they had to do an alteration on the material in the back of the dress due to it being too small. I purchased a $1800 dress and the hoop for under it as well as a tiara. I was also going to use them for the photography but as I discussed I needed to see if that was in the budget, it was too much for us this go around so I told them I wasn’t going to be able to use them for this quince but I will make sure I have the funds for my 2nd daughter and I was going to continue with the dress, tiara and hoop. I paid in full within a couple weeks and when I sent my boyfriend to pick up the dress I asked him to verify the hoop was in the dress bag as Cristol said it would be and he trusted her and left. I didn’t check it and of course regretted that decision the day of my daughters photos because they didn’t pack the hoop. I messaged the owner and received no response. The photo shoot ruined the dress because it was dragging all over the ground getting dirty. My boyfriend called her the following day and her first response was that I didn’t pay for it which is incorrect. I took photos of the contracts because they don’t print receipts there and am I glad I did. Then he texted her the contracts and she proceeded to tell him the shop was closed and he can come pick it up tomorrow and that they don’t put them in the bag with the dress so her daughter wouldn’t have said that. He asked if she was going to clean the dress since this was on her for not providing me with the product I paid in full for and she told him no I’m sorry here’s your hoop have a good day. He told her we are going to have to pay to have it cleaned now you belong reimbursing us for it or cleaning it on the house since you all didn’t make sure I received everything and she said she isn’t doing either. I was so excited to find a shop close by that I could use for my daughters quince and for future prom and homecoming dresses but since we were treated this way I’ll travel elsewhere instead. Horrible!! I should have researched this place first. What a waste of time and money. The owner does not communicate whatsoever. She doesn't care! She says she will call you back and she never does because she's too "busy". Took over a month just to get confirmation that she actually ordered the dress.They measured my daughter wrong. When the dress arrived, I never got a call. When I go to pick up the dress, the dress is way too small and she wants to alter it by adding material that will somewhat match it. None of her workers know what to do and all they can say is the owner will get back to you. 4 months later I have no dress and now I have to go shop somewhere else for a dress. I should have taken it as a sign when they tried to sell me the dress by adding $100 to the price, until I showed them a picture of the tag I took when my daughter tried on the dress. Who wants to pay over $1,000 for a dress thay doesn't fit! What I find funny is that you can't leave a bad review on any of her...

The worst experience ever! I would not recommend this place if you’re trying to get a dress for a special occasion. I was fitted for a dress in early July. My sister ordered all the dresses for her bridal party a week later and we were told 7 to 10 business days. I didn’t receive my dress until the end of August. The same week of the wedding...and as I suspected it did not fit. The owner attempted to make alterations, but they were subpar and I had to make adjustments to some of the alterations the day of the wedding. During the wait for my dress, I attempted numerous times to communicate with the owner and she would not answer my calls, but insisted we text instead, yet it was her business number (cell phone). The communication was horrible! The professionalism was non-existent! And their were a number of issues with not only my dress, but others in the bridal party.
