There are very real reasons that Tejas continues to be one of my absolute favorite vendors for semiprecious beads. Their customer service is top-notch. Their prices are reasonable. Their transparency regarding altered stones and oddball sizes is unmatched. Even better is the transparency on mediocre strands in the clearance section. I’ve never had problems with something not being as represented from Tejas, and I’ve been shopping with them for years.

They gave me faith in carnelian again by sending me some of the most beautiful strands I’d ever had my hands on. I’d given up on ordering it because what I was receiving from other vendors was either dyed (and presented as being natural) or very poor quality…and often both.

I finally got to visit in person, and was blown away by so many gorgeous strands in one place. I managed to pick up some beads that I’d been on the fence about…and more that weren’t even on my radar until I got to see them in person. I came home with so many ideas…and I’m having fun making them...
