Nutley Pools — Attraction in Nutley

Bad and snotty service,

I went into the store today to check out a pump for my pool. First my wife asked the young sales guy(maybe in the mid 20s) about a pump for our intex pool, she was told in a very snotty way "we do not sell pumps for Intex pools" and when she asked why his only response was "because we don't". At this point I got off a phone call I was on and asked the same sales guy because it seemed odd a sales person would be so rude while we were looking to buy a pump. Now I asked the sales guy that we are looking for a better pump than what we have and I am than told in a snotty way " we do not sell pumps for Intex pools" so I asked why since there pumps look like they would fit since online (amazon) shows the same pumps were selling for intex pools. I asked what is the reason there pumps will not work with my pool and I was told " I do not know the reason I was just told by my owner if anyone comes in and asks for a pump for Intex pools will not work". During this exchange every time I asked why I was told well if you want it I will sell it to you in a VERY RUDE and SNOTTY way. My first thought was to just walk out but we bought there before last year and yes for our intex pool and had no issue but I stayed and asked more questions since this is a pool store and they are supposed to be the professionals. We did leave and after we left I told my wife we will NEVER go in that store again. If you don't want my business, have a sign outside stating we are not friendly to people who own intex pools. By the way I have my pool 3 years and 3 very bad winters and the pool is still with no issues. I tried shopping at the local store but after the rude sales person I will go back to...

As a business owner I hesitate to leave a bad review, but this place definitely check all the boxes. I called Saturday for a filter for my old vita spa. A guy named Gerald shouted out “that he has those filter and just go pick them up as is he was too busy to take care of me. I asked him twice if he had them in stock because it was a 45 minute drive to Nutley. He replied “yes I’m sure just get them. I asked him for the price and he replied he couldn’t get me a price over the phone. I said fair enough. So I drove all the way to Nutley and when I got there I asked for Gerald and one guy at the counter told me he was busy, so I asked him for the filters and he replied if I had the filters with me. I said no but I had part numbers. He said that wasn’t enough which confused me more. I told him someone named Gerald told me he had them in stock. The guy at the counter went into a back room for like 20 minutes to show up with some totally different filters. I told him that someone already told me the filters were in stock. He shrug his shoulders and said well we don’t have them and those filters are discontinued . This place needs improvement from the employees all the way up to the owners and managers. Next day I went to Maltese in ridge wood and Sonia and her crew had the filters and were very polite and gave me the time as if I was buying a...

Buying a pool from this company was a nightmare from start to finish. We bought the pool in April and expected it to be a short while before it gets built, but it ended up taking almost 4 months. We called DAILY and left several emails with questions about the dates for the pool installation and no one ever returns calls nor emails. The customer service team is absolutely terrible. My moms card was charged several times by this company when it was only supposed to be charged once. If you thought it couldn’t get worse- it does. 4 months later after purchasing the pool, it finally gets constructed..BUT that same exact day before anyone was able to even enjoy the pool, there was a puddle of water next to the pool due to a leak. The pool wasn’t even filled half way at this point. 4 men put the pool together and not one was able to see a tear in the liner? In rage, we email the customer service team telling them the problem (no one answers the phone of course) and they reply the next day telling us that we have the option to BUY a new liner even though it has warranty BUT we would have to wait another week for it to be installed. The service overall was terrible and it’s obvious they have no compassion for their customers. $4500 later we have a leaking pool in the backyard we waited 4 months for....
