Macy's — Attraction in Oʻahu

I’m giving Macy’s pearlriidge 5 Stars because an employee showed optimum customer service. Her name is Ms. Shane Keller and she helped me yesterday, Thursday (-11/19/20), to complete an order of men’s fragrances.

I tried a number of times on the Macy’s website, to make an online order, however, at first I would get a feedback/notification that my order went through, then seconds later, I received a notification that my order has been canceled. This happened to me about 3x. So I decided to do a phone order, calling directly to the Macy’s store(s).

I’m currently living on Maui & decided to get one of my best friends on Oahu a gift.

I called the Waikiki Macy’s & unfortunately, the customer service was not good from the beginning, so I hung up. The Macy’s in Ala Moana was also a sad case with regards to their customer service, so I didn’t bother to deal with them either. I was ready to look elsewhere, but I called Macy’s Pearlridge & Ms. Shane Keller who answered the phone, changed my mind, with regards in looking elsewhere. She’s the best customer service/sales/Macy’s-employee that Oahu has, I repeat, the best that Oahu has. I wish there were more people like her within the retail outlet stores, throughout the island chain. She has a positive attitude and her energy was good. She was very patient over the phone and Ms. Keller went the extra mile, in offering to assist me with completing my order.

Ms. Keller, along with the assistance of her store manager at pearlridge, were able to coordinate with the Macy’s store on Maui, to assist me with the transaction, ( I want to also mention that the manager at the Maui Macy’s, Ms. Collins), was also an awesome helper and her employee Marylou did a great job too. All of them were able to help me with the whole process. It was a success.

Shout out to these Macy’s employees, for an exceptional, customer service experience. I plan on doing more business with these kind of people in the future.

Old lady I’m guessing her employee id is 71093104 as shows on receipt but she’s in the men’s department and gave me old nasty used UGG shoes that were used for display and I just seen people trying it on. I did not notice until I drove all the way back home. She’s so rude when I went to the counter and instead of respecting me and telling me they had no pair in size and color I wanted , she gave me the floor sample shoes that everyone tries on. I just wanted winter shopping I can send over to my fiance who just got stationed out in the south. I will not come here again. Luckily Ala Moana location had it and usually gives me great service. I am a loan officer and the one day I had off I wasted going here. Everyone at Macys is so quick to judge you when you walk in with shorts and sneakers or regular clothes but the minute I come in with a pant suit or dress and heels, they will try to suck up to me or others. This is why I don’t give them enough of my business and what’s crazy is I originally went to spend my bonus check in $10k to buy jewelry there instead of at Kay’s this year. This old lady should be the last person to try to judge anyone because she still works at Macys at her old age. She should show respect until she makes it as far as I have and I’m only 26 and have my own cosmetics business as well. I will not be wasting any more of my money at this...

Like shopping in the Last Act department here on the 2nd level near the hair salon and the clearance bra section. You can find some good deals if you take the time to look. I also like the convenience of the MAC counter there but, unfortunately it seems like they don't keep very good inventory in stock at their MAC counter. Majority of the time I go there looking for a specific item in a specific color they say they don't have it but, what also weird is that if I go on the MACY'S website, it will show which stores supposedly have the item in stock for pick up that day but then, when I go to the store the sales girl will say they don't have it. Kind of suspicious?... Anyway, it's best to shop Macy's when they have their sales, that's when you get...
