Ocean Lanes Bowling Center — Attraction in Ocean City

A small 12 lane bowling alley situated in the middle of OCMD. Just off the main road with plenty of parking. Looks like they are updating a mural outside with fresh paint. Looks great. Inside the place is clean and organized. Bowling from 10am to 12pm is half price as long as you start before noon they honor the half price for games. Socks can be purchased or shoes can be rented for $4 per person so don't forget socks or it costs you $8 for socks and shoes.

The electronic system is easy to use and the lanes seemed well maintained. The ball return is a little slow but nothing to complain about. We bowled 2 games per person with 4 people bowling. Only cost $28 for the 2 games with 4 people due to half price games. Not a bad deal. Half price games only apply when there isn't rainy weather so be aware. Short haired flat top guy with the Apple Airpods in… He couldn’t have possibly been ruder, or more passive aggressive, to people he does not know, much less some customers. To cap off the most pointlessly aggressive/awkward shoe rental experience ever, which I gave him the benefit of the doubt for, he walked around the counter after joking about how stupid of a question we just asked, the ONLY question we asked the guy, and walked away laughing at his own joke with a condescending explosion of laughter glued to his face as he looked back at us. His blend of personality and anger issues are that of an enraged serial killer’s, thankfully he chooses to use his talents to harass customers and bowlers instead since he allegedly “can’t be fired.” The bartender pretty much saves the whole experience with his charm, and I recommend going just to grab a drink, but definitely...

me and my sister in law are visting from jersey, we purchased a lane and shoes. they wouldnt serve us a twisted tea each and the red faced lady counting her tips when we walked up behind the counter kept telling us to calm down when she said our licenses number "didnt match our eye color"... we are literally 24 y/o and provided multiple forms of id. manager was kind and told her to accept the id's and she was on a mission to not serve us and clock out asap obviously. super upsetting experience. ive been visiting ocean city multiple times a year as my family has a condo since i was a child and ive never experienced something like this beforr. they refunded our lane although we didnt ask, it was kind but the experience of being doubted for who you are and being told that you're not worth a $10,000 fine is...
