Poor customer service
Hello,
I have come to your market multiple and every time I try to get fresh meat, there is an issue.
Today was very disappointing. I was having a hard time finding the grapes and the hispanic man working the produce told he did not know where they were. The lovely lady (Oriental), at the register was able to show where I missed them at.
I went to the meat section to see about wild caught shrimp. The male workers (all hispanic) literally walked away from me and started cutting fish after helping another hispanic male I was behind in line.
I got their attention three different times and on the second time I was told to wait because they are busy. The third time, they got me someone from the other end who informed me your location does not carry wild caught shrimp.
The nice young man at the register (Oriental), was also kind and helpful.
I literally waited 7 mins for the Hispanic men to answer my question. I am not sure what the issue is but all the Hispanic workers at your market were rude to me and unwilling to help. I am a Somali and African American mixed woman and fear this experience may be due to my skin tone.
Please help with this issue.
Thank...
Read moreI stopped by today really looking forward to the experience since I love International cuisine. I've seen other comments about the smell and brushed it off. I mean, how bad could it be? Um, bad. Really, really, bad. If not for my mask I would've had no choice but to leave immediately. Despite the ungodly stench though, I trekked on anyway. The aisles are very narrow and there are whole sections where you can't even get your cart. None of the items I looked at had expired, which is contrary to what other people's experiences have been. I was also able to find some interesting looking desserts and Indonesian ramen noodles that I'd been wanting to try so it wasn't all bad. But this is where things get worse. I get to the seafood counter and just about all the fish are in these open containers where anyone can breathe, cough, sneeze, or touch all over them, not to mention dust, flies, etc. This explains the rancid odor. It just baffles me that despite this pandemic, more care isn't being taken in regards to food safety. Not only were the fish out in the open like that but some of them looked like they'd gone bad. I'm glad I got the few items I did but unfortunately I don't think...
Read moreI bought 4 lobster tails last Saturday and cooked all of them that night. I was so exited but.. one of them was bad. Instead of turning red it turned black.. eww... so I called the next day, explained the situation and sent them a picture as they requested. The lady said she will call back after talking to her boss. She called back and said I can call their vendor. What?? I said no that's your job and she said she will talk to her boss and will call back. She calls back the next day which was Monday and told me that her boss said there's nothing she can do about it. What??? I didn't pay for a bad lobster and they will not take responsibilities for selling bad products. So if I were you, I would drive down the block and go...
