Hubbly Bubbly Lounge — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

This place was literally heaven on earth to me!!! I have been to a wide variety of hookah lounges, bars, & cafes around the world and this is one of my all-time favorites! They have an impressive selection of very well priced shisha brands & flavors (especially during their happy hours, and if you bring your own shisha it’s even cheaper!), they only use the best coconut cube charcoals, their menu is all halal & even has a whole page dedicated to enumerating the benefits of halal meat, the food was delicious (you have to try their house secret recipe Hubbly Bubbly sauce - it was truly phenomenal!), and they have a fabulous assortment of smoothies, shakes, tea, & coffee (and don’t serve any alcohol, which I considered a plus).

The ambiance is absolutely delightful. Besides all the cozy couches, they play a really chill relaxed eclectic music selection at a light level where you can still easily have conversations or get work done, there are 2 TVs which they keep silent with closed captioning (except for during the World Cup match, which was fantastic!), the walls are filled with gorgeous local art, they have a gorgeous luxuriously decorated VIP room, chic lit placards with the free WiFi password on them that you hit a button to change color to call a server (a.k.a. “Hookologist,” not that you even need them because they are so attentive already!), and they have outlet & USB charging towers all over the place. And on top of all of that, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable & attentive and the super sweet owner has cultivated an their staff culture to exude the sense of being one big happy family of awesome people who are all great to chat with and extend that family dynamic to include their patrons as well! At night (on a Wednesday night), the place was filled with small groups of friends out on the town and couples and there were beautiful talented belly dancers roaming throughout the room. I heard them mention they teach classes too, which I would totally take if I lived locally! They also have a sister tobacco shop and offered to deliver any tobacco flavors I liked.

If I lived here, I would seriously volunteer to work at this place for free, just to get to be a part of the staff family and contribute to the communal peace and joy they are dishing out every minute of every day! I cannot recommend them highly enough and will absolutely route myself on this same route the next time I drive across the country just to visit...

I am still going to give this place a 5 stars because I enjoy the owner and this place used to be a second home to almost. But lately, it seems like every time I go (once every month or two) the bowl just seems to be cashed, has no flavor, almost no smoke produced, or just something wrong with it to where I have not got the pleasant/relaxing smoke I have always used to get. It also seems like some of the employees are more chill than ever, but sometimes it plays off as too chill to where it's a little disappointing in customer service. Went in there last Friday on January 11th, 2019, and had 2 bowls back to back. Had the 1st one, literally had no flavor of the shisha that I have ordered for years and almost 0 smoke produced. The bowl was also made SUPER fast, so I feel like it wasn't attended to/made as well as it could have been. I went a head and got a 2nd bowl to replace it after finally giving up on that one, same thing happened. I have gotten more smoke from my $10 starter vape recently, than from any of the hookahs that have been made from me. I just hope that this can change in the near future because I do thoroughly enjoy this place (which is why I can't give it any less than 5 stars still) but, improvements most surely need to be made in some areas of...

Prices are extremely high, not worth it employees are rude and very unprofessional. takes 30 mins or move to get your hookah. Longer if it isn't busy. I've seen them go outside and mess around while customers are waiting. *don't bother. Go down the street to the other hookah bar for better service and a professional atmosphere and employees. *the couches smell *owner isn't involved, let's 17 and 18 year old run the place. You can only imagine how unorganized they are.... *saw a few roaches on the couches

Lasting night the door guy and the fat Mexican singled me out after I ordered food and went to go sit down and smoke while I waited for my food. Mind you this is ( 11:20pm ) their about close. Well 3 of them stand over me and told me I could sit there. I was waiting for my food. Paying customers. Maybe if you didn't have a bunch of children running your shop I'd think about going back. But I won't. You lost me because of unprofessionalism. The door guy was rude. Fire him. And the chubby Mexican guy. Fire him. On top of that the prices...
