I was treated terribly from the moment I arrived. I had to ring the doorbell a few times to be let in the door and the look on the employee’s face immediately told me it wasn’t going to go well. I walked to the checkin counter and the female employee said “what do you want, hon?”. I was already frustrated and wanted to walk out, but the reservation was non refundable, so I told her I had a reservation. The reservation was under my mothers name and I gave her my drivers license. She also asked for a credit card so I gave her my card. She said the reservation wasn’t under my name so that is a problem. I had just told her it was under my mom’s name. My mother had made the red for me because I had been at the hospital all day taking care of my friends children while she was in heart surgery. She had a heart attack and was sent via medi-flight to OKC. The employee still had a problem and a bad attitude and told me she would cancel my reservation since I was not the person who made the original reservation. I told her to just use my own credit card at that point and she wouldn’t go ahead. She still had my ID and credit card in her possession and kept saying she was going to cancel the reservation. She said do you want to speak to my manager and I said yes. She got on the phone and went in the back for a few minutes, then came back and said the manager wasn’t available. We argued a few more minutes and she finally returned my ID and card to me. I stated that I simply needed a place to stay and explained to her again that I had been at the hospital all day and that my friend had almost died. No response from her. She called her manager again and I spoke to him and he advised that she was following their policy. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never been treated so disrespectfully. Even if they did not want to honor my reservation, I had told her multiple times to simply book me a room and charge MY card that she had in her possession for several minutes. I have never had issues checking in under a different reservation name before. People book trips, family vacations, etc and it is not an issue. To top it off, I am an owner and signer on the card that the original reservation was made under. I do understand that hotels must do their due diligence and follow proper policies, but they DO NOT have to treat customers disrespectfully in the process. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated at the situation especially after a long day at the hospital hoping my loved one didn’t die. Please strive to do better in the future for your remaining customers. As for me, I will never use your hotel chain or any...
Read moreThis is one of the worst Comfort Inns I have ever visited. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund and go stay elsewhere at a decent hotel. ||I arrived about an hour earlier than the listed check in time. Normally this is not a problem anywhere as most hotels are happy to check you in if rooms are ready, and they were. This one wanted to charge me a $15 early check in fee, which was not listed in any of their advertising or on the Choice Hotels website. The rude clerk refused to check me in so I sat in the lobby for an hour waiting. Of course when you have policies like this right at the check in time there are several people waiting to check in. What poor management.||I was finally checked in and went to my room. I had requested a room in the quietest part of the hotel since I go to bed early. The rooms have an inner door connecting to the room next door. The door is paper thin and you can hear every single word spoken. Well next to me was a room with kids yelling nonstop. I went back to the lobby and requested a room change and the desk employee refused saying they had no other rooms. I told her to switch mine with someone who hadn't check in yet and she refused even though hardly anyone had checked in by this time and lots of rooms were available. I went back to my room and checked the Choice Hotel website and found that the same type of room I had was available for rent that same night which proved that the employee was nothing but a liar. ||Beside hearing everything in the room next door you will hear every little noise or voice in the hallway. If your looking for a quiet experience this is not the place to stay. ||I was eventually able to get a refund and leave this horrible place. The area is a bit sketchy which I was glad to get out of. ||Do yourself a big favor and find another place to stay. Otherwise you may be listening to screaming kids all night long. Thank god I was able to get out of here and go elsewhere where I enjoyed a very...
