The rooms were nice, it's a relatively new hotel, however I did have an issue with the employees..I'm a diamond member and was asked to be put on the highest floor for a Friday and Saturday night h stay..I prefer to stay on higher floors that way you don't have to hear the people above you...I had just had back surgery and somehow the reservation got mixed up on those end and I ended up on the 4th floor at the time it was quite so I didn't make a big deal out of it.. around 9pm I was woken up by an entire baseball team running up and down the halls, this went on for about an hour so I called downstairs and asked if they could please get control of their hotel and the girl downstairs said she would see what she could do..well another hour went by so I called downstairs again and asked to be moved because it was obvious that the 10 yr old kids were allowed to disrupt the entire hotel with their parents present none the less...I was told they had no rooms on the 6th floor and basically I had to deal with it...these kids were going floor to floor racing down the hallways..I could not sleep I called down several times and asked if they would please put a stop to it..I was in pain and just wanted some rest, there are cameras on every floor and still nothing was done...I used 30k points for that stay and it was the worst experience at a laquinta EVER!! I asked to speak with a mgr but for some odd reason the mgr doesn't work on weekends?? It took over 30 days staying in a whyndham hotel chain to get the 30k points I waisted at those hotel...I was assured the manager would call me as soon as he got back the Monday of the following week..never got a single phone call from them...I had to come back for a check up a month later and I thought maybe I just had some bad luck so o used an additional 15k points for the one night and I called down to the front desk to ask a question and the girl answer the phone "Yes!!' in a I'm pist at the world tone...even when I checked in I asked for my bag that diamond members get and she said I don't think we have any I said well can u look, all attitude ohh and they had bags...come on people it is a bag with water and a pack of crackers in it u should never run out...I've stayed at la quintas all over and I have never wanted to check out and get my points back so bad, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way...rude young adults work there who can care less..it is a nice hotel but I will never spend my money there, by far the worst costumer service ever...I'm still waiting for the manager to call me, lol I don't think that will ever happen..if u don't like your job get a new one but don't make your guests suffer for their incompetence...there are alot of hotels around there that will make sure u are happy with your stay and if not they will try to fix it some how...the only reason they got 3 stars was because the hotel was new...I'm literally thinking of switching chains over this...I have spent over 6 thousand dollars since November staying at Wyndham chains but this hotel was the straw that broke the...
Read moreIf I could give this hotel zero stars I would. Do not stay here if you want to stay in a clean hotel. We found ants in our bed. The room smelled like mold. The televisions in out suite did not work. Our family chose the suite so that our children could have their own space. When I went to make the pull out bed in the room, I realized that there were no sheets, pillows, or blankets for the pull out bed. I went to the front desk to get them (This was not a big deal, but it was irritating at the time because it was later in the evening, and we needed to put our girls down for bed, and going to the front desk was a hassle with two children to try to get settled). Once I got the bed made we realized that the tvs in our room did not work. We had planned on ordering pizza and playing x-box together as a family, so the broken tvs really threw a wrench in that plan. The staff was very kind. They moved our room, and did everything in their power to take care of us. The manager I spoke to about a refund on the following Tuesday was rude and short with me. He believed that since we moved rooms because of the mold smell and the televisions not working that the problem should go away. Unfortunately, we were moved from the mold room and into the room with ants in the bed. My partner and children were covered in ant bites all weekend, and we did not realized where the bites were coming from until Sunday morning. When we spoke with the front desk, the woman was very understanding, She told us she would do what she could to get us a refund. We left our phone number with her so that the manager could call us on Monday. He never called. I waited until Tuesday to call. He was very dismissive of my complaints. We booked through Expedia, and when I raised the issue with them they tried to contact the hotel. The hotel refused the refund. I am not typically a person to leave negative reviews (You can look through my review history), but this really did ruin our trip. If you do stay here, be prepared to stay in a hotel that has not been kept up well. Although the lobby looks nice, you will notice in the elevator all the upkeep that has not been done. There a tiles missing from the elevator roof. The whole hotel feels like they haven't done any renovations since it opened, and there were many renovations that needed to take place. There are marks on the walls, door fixtures missing in the rooms. I am very disappointed with this hotel. I haven't ever experienced this at a hotel before. Do not stay here. You will get bug bites, and you will be disappointed with...
Read moreDang it. I hate leaving bad reviews. We came to visit my father so he could meet his 10 month old grandson. We asked for a crib at check in and they gave us this old school looking crib that wasn’t put together, not yet a real problem though. We take it up to our room and as I am putting the crib together We notice it is missing screws so it doesn’t close fully and is a huge hazard for a baby. It can open up in the middle of the night while we are sleeping. I asked the front desk if there was another crib we could use and they said they don’t have any other cribs and it is rare when they are asked for a crib. I asked the front desk for sheets at least, surely they have sheets for the crib and of course, they cannot find sheets for it and had us waiting over an hour for an answer on if they had sheets or not.
The night was rough as we were very worried about our baby through the whole night and had very little sleep.
We chose this hotel because they advertised having cribs and also a washer and dryer. Guess what?! Washer and Dryer were out of service…
We had originally booked 2 nights but since our first night was all over the place, we decided to move over to the residence inn next door in the same parking lot. Much much better of course as Marriotts always are.
We spoke to the front desk before we checked out after that first night and even the front desk was encouraging us to speak to the manager and figure out how we can get compensated for that disaster of a night or at the very least cancel that 2nd night since we checked out early in the morning after the first night.
The manager was out the whole weekend so we could not get ahold of them. Finally, after trying to get in contact with the manager, we spoke with him and of course he was in denial of anything being broken or any issues we had experienced when the guy wasn’t even there that whole weekend.
The manager Bill hungup on us. He is responsible for 4 properties and is never around and when he is he just denies everything
We just wanted our little guy to be safe. That’s not too much to ask for. We trusted La Quinta to be fair and honest and they were not. I’ll add photos of the broken...
