Billy Sims BBQ — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

First off most certainly not worth 40 bucks and the older gentleman that was working there was very inconsiderate and rude I didn't get my extra cheese and sour cream I even said I'd pay for it there was a homeless woman I think she was homeless I'm not sure but the way he spoke to her and hollered her to get out and was just straight up unmerciful hateful and rude I understand the homeless population around here is overwhelming overwhelming but try to be try to be part of the solution there's a lot of mentally ill people out there and he was clearly staggered by the sheer presence of a homeless woman I met her out in front of my motel at the bus stop I'm in the middle of moving and temporarily staying across the street but I sure as hell won't be back, it just took me back I come from a family with money but I screwed up my life and I have been homeless only for 3 days but that was enough I get a check for being mentally ill but I am not stupid and I am still a human being and so was the lady that was in the restaurant hey was just straight up hateful that man was straight up hateful I mean hollering at her to get out and from where I was sitting she was doing nothing I don't quite know their history and I Can Only Imagine. But he needs to find other employment because public service is not his thing. And the way the world is today we're supposed to be looking out for each other and lifting each other up and helping each other by the grace of God I'm still here and I have a family and kids and grandkids yesterday was the anniversary of my daughter getting murdered in Houston Texas 5 years and he didn't make it a very pleasant day just his whole attitude sucked like I said I'll go without barbecue before I ever step into Billy Sims again ....

I gave 4 stars only because I want ribtips, if I could give 4 1/2 I would. First time trying Billy Sims I read All the reviews and there are like 2-3 people who said it wasn't good and around the same said the portions were small and a bit pricey. However this Chicago Foodie begs to differ. I have tried it All, Carolina, Memphis, Texas style bbq so I Overstand that someone who does not know the difference between the styles thereof. This BBQ is Smoked and the ribs were nice n meaty and I had a nice sized baked potato it's just about two portions in size. The BBQ sauces were good also I had sweet n mild and hickory as well. For the folks that say It's pricey,,,,,,, It's BBQ..... If You can get two meals for the price of one of Billy Sims meals I'm willing to bet that it's greasy, fatty and not so tender THE EXACT TOTAL OPPOSITE OF Billy Sims. I EATS,,,, And I could only finish 3 bones if You'd got it from Chillis, Teaxas Road house or any of those type chains You will realize that one of Billy Sims bones is equivalent to the others half slab. No exaggeration. Nice job guys, I'll visit again before I go back to Chicago. Look how clean the bone is. SINCE my First review of Billy Sims I have ordered three more times 🙈 But...

I came in unsure of what I wanted. They had one other customer sitting there eating. I decided on the baked potato. I chose brisket as a meat. I didn't check my bag until I made it back to my hotel, and realized that he didn't give me brisket he gave me pulled pork, barely put any toppings on the potato. Like a sprinkle of cheese and sour cream and no chives!
