Deceitful, that Cecile is. I felt taken advantage of right after my surgical procedure. Firstly, she stated that she was experienced in post op massages, yet when I showed up with my surgical incision and she saw them, she seemed taken aback and squeamish. (Mind you, she knew what my procedure was and my date of surgery prior to me showing up, so it should have been no surprise... if she had the post op surgical experience she implied). That did not add up to me. She then passed me on to another therapist for my subsequent sessions. Anyhow, we had a discussion about massage "packages". We spoke about the 10 session package. While in the process of her booking them for me -- she was on about booking #4 (while I'm standing infront of her desk, in real time), I told her I'd do 5 instead and if I need the additional 5, we could go from there. The very next day I was reviewing my back statements and saw that she had charged me for 10 sessions just the same. I figured, "Oh, must have been a misunderstanding. This should be an easy fix."
Boy, was I WRONG!
This woman NOW starts telling me about non-refund policy (which she conveniently failed to mention when she was booking me for the sessions).
Had I waited until the last minute to be like, "Oh, go ahead and cancel the additional 5 session".. then I would understand her not wanting to refund my money. But, no, that wasn't the case.
I LITERALLY reached out to her the very next day when the charge hit my account and I saw it. Long story short, she told me she was in bed and would talk to me about it next time I go by the office. I saw her once after this text message exchange..in passing... in the hallway on my way to have a massage session with another therapist.
I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just taking some time for her to sort things out. Nope. When I reached out to her again, she dug 10 toes down and was adamant that she would not refund me. I told her I'll go through the bank then.
So I did. Initially the bank sided with her because my evidence was bits and pieces of the communication between her and I. After she "won" she became petty and sent me a text (absolutely UNCALLED FOR and UNPROFESSIONAL) as if she was gloating that I had lost the case and she didn't have to refund MY MONEY.
So then my lawyer got involved and the entire conversation between her and I was sent in for evidence, etc. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all I had to go through to get about $280...
Read moreMy teenage son has been having intense pain in his hips from running/sports, to the point where he was struggling to play and needing to walk. We’d seen the chiropractor and rested and he wasn’t getting relief. Cecile treated his hip flexors 2x through deep tissue massage and cupping. She was very professional and knowledgeable and provided helpful information on the muscles groups, how they connect, and why he is likely experiencing the pain- which was helpful to both of us. After the massage she even took the time to show us specific stretches that will help him moving forward.
My son has since played in 2 tournaments and has been able do everything he needs to without having to deal with pain. He’s been telling his friends about it and how helpful it was to him- which is a testimony in itself...
Read moreIf you've been looking for a great, quality, professional massage therapist look no further. I've been dealing with chronic low back pain and leg pain for year's and unfortunately it's just a part of my life. I've been seeing Cecile for a couple years now and she has helped me through many bad pain flair-ups. She's very knowledgable in her work and really focuses on communication during her massages. Many times I'd walk in with a 7 to 8 pain level in my back and after her massage my pain would be reduced to a 3 or lower. Which is amazing if you are dealing with chronic pain constantly. Personally, I received cupping therapy from Cecile, which I found out to be the most beneficial for me. Please don't hesitate to schedule an...
