Hidden Collectibles 2 — Attraction in Orange

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. First and foremost I did not even know this shop existed until my dad told me about it when he went to Flame Broiler next door and him knowing I am into collectibles informed me of this location. One day, I decided to go in and immediately I knew I found a place where not only could I find an amazing selection of trading cards, funkos, games, and more, but a place to go to just spend time and get involved in the community surrounding collecting. The owner JJ is very fun and accommodating and is well informed of everything that he has and will answer any question that you may have. Logan is one of the long term employees in the shop as well and he is by far one of the best when it comes to customer service not just in this realm but in general. He knows his stuff, can ensure the sale is legit and helps guide you in the right direction with questions, but makes you feel at home and welcome the moment you step foot into that door. Sometimes I don't even buy anything I just stop in to say hi and that shows that both JJ and Logan don't just care about your money; they care about the people they can effect and help put a smile on their face which is one of the hardest things to find out there with many other businesses. The prices were really fair, no complaints about that and I will definitely come back but the guy at the front counter gave me attitude whenever I asked a question. It might have only been me because he was really nice to a family that was there before me but when I asked questions and brought up my own experiences and thoughts on things said it was mostly met with attitude. I asked if they could go lower on price (38 dollars on singles, I was asking if they could do 35 just to make it a nice even number) and the guy just bluntly said "no, we need to make money here." which I tried to laugh it off. I made a comment about pokemon booster boxes being better because of the likeliness of there being hits and the guy again bluntly said "no not really, that's all stuff said on the internet but it's not true" and when I mentioned with 36 packs youre bound to get a hit he said "yeah, but I've watched people open them and get sh- cards". I had a remarkable experience purchasing a gameboy micro from Logan! I messaged him about a Pokemon Center Exclusive Gameboy Micro (red and black console in photos), hoping he still had the item. Luckily for me, he had it in inventory and told me that he would have it set aside for me to check it out and buy it if I liked it! Logan showed me this grail of a Gameboy Micro and it was in superb working order for a twenty year old console. He told me the story of how he became the owner of this item and that made this purchase and experience truly 10/10. He was genuinely happy to help me add this item to my gaming collection.
