Do not attend story times here. Having a story time the morning of the street fair opening was awful planning. My 2 year old and I had to walk almost a mile in the heat only to be turned away (incredibly rudely might I add) by someone at the door. She yelled at me from across the parking lot instead of allowing me to get closer and talk to me in a normal volume like a human being. I explained how far I had just walked with my daughter and she basically told me too bad while continuing to yell. No where on the advertisement for the story time did it say there was a capacity limit either. When I said it should have been posted she just walked away from me and hid inside. When she thought I was gone she started to come back out, I’m assuming because she heard me trying to explain to my daughter that we weren’t allowed in and we had to go home and when she saw me still outside she immediately turned back around and went back inside. Moral of the story, don’t attend these story times and if you do, get there at least 30...

First time I came to this place with my family we were followed around by the staff. At first I thought okay they’re probably just trying to be helpful, but no they kept following us even if we separated and just kept starring us down as if we were going to steal something. I ignored this and thought maybe I was overreacting. I decided to give this place another try and take my nephew to get him a gift for his birthday. Once I walked in, I was immediately stopped and told that I couldn’t go in because my nephew did not have a mask. I looked around and noticed there was other kids with no masks inside. Then the employee changed the reason to them only allowing in children that were 2 years or older, my nephew is 1 year and 11 months. Love this store, I come here often with my son to see the cool unique toys they have. Only reason I took a star off is I always feel stalked and watched as if I’m gonna steal something. They do have a sign to put large bags in their cart due to “high theft” sorry but I’m not leaving my bag with my wallet and belongings right at the front of the door where anyone can just take one step and they’re out of the store.
