So I'd like to start by saying the place was clean and well maintained as a person who's been in and out of 7 feathers for better part of 30 years 9f my life the ever changing world we live in it's next to impossible to satisfy everybody's desires and or what they expect a place to be far as the gambling side there's without a doubt there slot machines are not as even as they used to be however that's just the world of gambling many don't understand that's there main income in the place it pays the bills pays workers ect I can go on and on so absolutely the slots ain't doing the best but they ain't doing bad either it's a crap shoot one day your in and out within 2 hours and down 2000 a week later 20 bucks in a slot machine Herr can easily pay for your hole trip on return I've seen it ive done it same as my father mother friends ect I don't feel it's fair to shame a casino cause there slots ain't paying I mean if you won 1 penny above your placed bet that's a win and recognized as such unfortunately some believe 20 bucks should automatically grant you a jackpot or high winnings it absolutely don't work that way. Now moving forward there staff desk clerks casino floor workers cleaning staff all have been polite respectful and willing to help you out in a moment notice the last 2 days they have been wonderful to me and my mother as we both took a little get away after my father passed away as he loved this place so it was already a difficult trip but they made it comforting and we enjoyed areself. My only major complaint is 9 bucks for a 24 oz beer while your throwing 100s in a slot machine is just wrong on a casinos part I under it I understand it offsets costs from other areas like sodas water coffee ect but that's a bit extreme to me most my gambling was in Las Vegas we're drinks were completely free while playing beer spirits ect free I've noticed however all my casino visits were pre pandemic and that caused some serious financial stress on these kinda places most don't understand that a casino is a business so theres two sides operating cost vs personal accets when your heading for dipping in the owners pocket restructuring a place is a must so I do sympathize to a degree my stay was completely fabulous other then that 27 dollars for a 6 pack is absolutely absurd to me some mixed drinks were 14 and 15 bucks again absolutely ridiculous knowing you get discounts by buying in volume you easily profit 8 bucks a can can't blame 7 feathers i mean if people are buying it might as well right makes good business sense might as well head to there truckstop buy a case if they still sell over there and bring It back to the casino and save 60 bucks folks idk if they still do hadn't been over there yet this trip none the less the visit was great but the prices are gonna hurt you in time or people just don't pay attention to it...
Read moreJune 21, 2025 another evening of thunder and lightning or so I thought. I was wrong. In reality it was a night of learned racism. You see if I was blaring my stereo equipment at 130 decibels the county sheriff would be here harassing me like a criminal demanding, me to end the party and turn down the music 🎶. Since the Umpqua band of Indians have more rights than the typical American do, they can do things that the rest of us cannot including break laws and curfews. Unfortunately, they bully us with these protected rights by blasting their music, clear cutting their forests. Forests that the federal government is forbidden to sell to the private citizen, and light fires adjacent to private lands that just happen to jump fire lines and burn those private lands resulting is loss of property and life of which the property owner has no right to recompense since it's the tribe. Lose -lose for everyone involved. Since Sue died it's been a shameful degradation.
They have no respect for the community, or locals. Profits first, employees last. Contributions to Canyonville = $0/year. Its like they only care about harming others. Dont like the noise, well tough, as they turn up the volume during the out door concerts. I get a visit from the police if my stereo is up too loud, but if it's the tribe, it's ok. Double standard, is disgusting. Since the people do not have the $$$ to combat such a financial powerhouse we are forced to suffer.

They have an indoor concert venue, but they know its too loud for their hotel guests so they setup outside on the edge of their reservation by the graveyard. Would rather disrupt the entire town than their guests, no respect for the locals.

Another outdoor concert to abuse the locals. I know they have an huge indoor venue. I know it's too loud for their guests, so they opted to put the band and loudspeakers outside. I know that everyone is forced conceded to sacred Indian grounds but a concert in or next to the a non-indian graveyard is ok. Love the double standard. It's like now that Sue is dead and gone and is no longer able to keep the others in check, they are taking their vengeance upon the citizens on Canyonville. Talk about no respect for you neighbor Sue is rolling in her grave. Shame on you Mike for not honoring her, reigning in the elders and acting as a leader.
July 12, 2024 Thought it was thunder and lightning. Nope just 7 Feathers with another outrageously loud event held at the Masonic Cemetery. Considering their beliefs about sacred burial lands, you'd think they'd extend that to a Cemetery where all races are buried even members of the tribe. Not when the almighty $$$ is at steak, by God they'll dance on everyone's grave and disrespect every member of the community they claim to belong to. Sue must be rolling in her grave to see what has become...
Read moreWe came down to the area on a mid-week mini break from Portland. There were a few things in the area we wanted to do and we liked the look of Seven Feathers hotel and facilities so we booked it. I’m so glad we did!! The location just off of I5 makes it very convenient and the fact that it has 6 different type of restaurants means that if you don’t want to leave the resort you don’t need to. Our room was an East tower king and it was very spacious and comfortable with a nice big bathroom and 2 areas to sit and relax. I know for most people the attraction would be the casino, but for us it was the huge pool and spa area. The pool/pool area was excellent, with comfortable loungers and chairs, a dry sauna, and also had 2 hot tubs with varied temperatures (one was 98°F, the other 102°F) if you’re a hot tub person you’ll appreciate the choice. They also have a spa where you can choose from a whole range of self care services. We didn’t book any, but they have a really nice spa store and the products were all very reasonably priced and we bought some soaps. The resort has various areas to gather outside during nice weather and plenty of non-casino areas if you’re bringing the kids. Their gift shop had so many excellent items (I bought some unique greeting cards). Ironically we are not big gamblers but we did go for the evening on our last night and played a bit of slots and video poker. We want to play craps but the table was full! They only had one (which is normal in the Indian casinos) but they did have a lot of other table games. I think the only drawback is that it allows smoking in all the main areas of the casino floor, including the bars and only has a small section of slots (open to the floor) that is non-smoking. So take this into account if you are really sensitive to smoke (although, it seemed that the ventilation and filters do a good job job) If you are stay there on a Wednesday morning between the moths of May and October, walk over to the Canyonville Farmers Market which is held in the south corner of the hotel side parking lot. Lots of nice fruits, veg and artisan booth (support the local economy!). All and all we had an excellent 3 night stay. Tips: If you’re going to the Wildlife Safari buy your tickets at the front desk at the hotel and save $9.50 per adult ticket If your booking a East tower room request and odd number room for...
